I am unable to access all of my old hotmail emails after migrating to Outlook.com. While I am able to search for the emails and they do appear in my account, when I click on the emails, they are inaccessible. Any emails after my Outlook migration is accessible but all emails prior to migration are inaccessible.
I migrated in March 2013.

i have just checked my hotmail account and all my emails are gone including precious photos. Can you please advise how I can retrieve ? i have tried the recover deleted emails already it did not work. It seems to be something to do with the migration

after messenger/skype migration ,what about our alerts when email comes in?
I am unable to connect to Microsoft exchange server with outlook. I was successfully connected until my company did a "migration" to allow us more mailbox space. I am unable to use the auto configure. It asks me to manually configure but I can't seem to
get the server address correct. I just get the yellow dot. I have asked someone else who uses a mac what their server address is but that address does not work. My company doesnt provide support for Mac. Any help would be appreciated.
I've used my 2 hotmail addresses for over 10 years. I am happy with what it does and how it works, and also have them both as mails to a lot of forums i subscribe to. Is it compulsary to change to outlook? If it is, then i will just close all my accounts
with microsoft e mail and go elsewhere.
The mail migration add-on tool finds my email address but stops with the message: Please close these email applications before continuing with the upload. Windows Mail.
The mail application is not in use.
Cant get past this point.
How come I cannot log in to Skype after migration? It says “Sorry you cannot sign into Skype with your Microsoft account because you do not meet the age limit requirement"

Need help in migrating Windows live mail 2011 emails to Microsoft Outlook 2010 Professional.
a. I am using Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit newly configured.
b. I am using the default Windows Live Mail 2011 pre installed with the OS.
c. Installed MS Outlook 2010 Professional.
Encountered Problem.
I followed the instruction on how to migrate emails from Windows Live Mail to MS outlook unfortunately I am receiving errors.
1. Either there is no default mail client or the current mail client cannot fulfill the messaging request. Please Run MS Outlook and set it as default mail Client.
2. The export could not be performed an error occured while initializing the MAPI.
Corrective Action.
1. Set the MS outlook as the default Mail Client.
2. Checked the Registry Key ( HKEY_ Local_ Machine\ Software\Clients\Mail = Default :Microsoft Outlook ; PreFirstRun: Either there is no default mail client or current mail client cannot fulfill......
3. Uninstalled and Re install MS Outlook and perform the export of windows live mail to ms outlook. The same error appears.
