Another request to shut down an un-used Windows Live account which still has Orange Windows Live Mobile Messenger associated with it.

 

I have not used Orange Windows Live Mobile Messenger for a number of years, so I can not cancel the subscription via Orange as I no longer have any account details.

I've been having a lot of problems with the lack of storage capacity on my mobile but cannot keep up with the deleting as it is very slow, after trawling through Orange for months and following instructions and then onto HTC themselves and following every suggestion, and going through all the storage sync facility apps such as google play and evernote etc which cannot be used at this point in time due to lack of room to upload, so going through mob found had forward email capacity checked with htc and yes I had this available all the time so tried and didn't work all day, back to both hyc and Orange and Bt and they've all said no problem their end so it comes down to hotmail problem not accepting emails from phone, my mob keeps breaking, I need it desperately so please could anyone help me?

Hi I created a skydrive account and backed up my data (phots and videos) from my Nokia Lumia phone as it was causing me issues and Orange had to send it away to be investigated.  I backed my data up in the Orange Shop. 

After waiting 3 weeks to get my phone back (to be told nothing wrong with it grrrrr!!), I logged into my Skydrive account to transfer my data back over to phone but it says my account is blank (no photos or documents!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!).

How can this be????

Firstly, my Hotmail pages could was ORANGE but for some reason it has now changed to BLUE ??  i am not sure if this is within conjunction with the next problem :-

 

i am not sure why, but this evening when a few emails started coming in they began merging with each other.  For instance, Johns emails arrives and it says i have 1 x message in my Inbox (and i can visibly see it).  Then Janes email arrives but kind of combines with the first email and then it says i have 1 x message in my Inbox again !!!  When i open the email it has BOTH emails inside.  It looks like its part of a 'conversation' if that makes sense ??

 

Hope someone can help as i am a very basic user and was quite happy with the old way its been running for the last ten years for me.  What has just happened has really messed me up and i am struggling to manage with it.  Would be great if someone can help please.

My account has changed to outlook with a blue interface rather than orange, when i enter my account i cannot see my emails listed, I can see my folders on the left but the middle where all recent emails should be displayed is all blank but if i scroll down i can then see them but then cannot click to open my emails also the feature to switch back to hotmail is not available, please help? I did not upgrade my account and if it was going to happen automatically then it should work without any issues? Please help.
I am wanting to edit my contacts list. When I ask for the list all I get is a (nearly) blank screen. There is a small orange bar across the top - but the rest is blank. How can I see my contacts list please?

I am running a brand new 2 day old Windows 7 (64 bit) O/S. I have downloaded Widows live Essentials. In fact I have no interest in the other stuff

so I just installed Windows Live Mail 2012 (V 2012Build 16.4.3505.0912). I have set up my orange e-mail account correctly - the pop.orangehome.co.uk and smtp.orangehome.co.uk and all that data. I have just come off the phone after 90 minutes to orange support, who did exactly what I had already done to no avail......My incoming e-mails download from the server fine, but any attempt to send, be it new reply or forward fails with the following error message.

Also my internet connection is through a Buffalo WBMR-G125 router - I do not use Orange live box

Orange seems to think that there is problem with the email client software (Live Mail 2012???). I suspect it has to be a firewall problem but can find nothing in Windows.

I have some experience of computer problems as I was a computer system administrator in a school and an OEM for 12 and a half years before retirement.

But this is a real stinker - if any more info is required please ask.

I have been able to log into Hotmail, but the links for inbox, junk, and other folders are not working. I need to gain access as I use Hotmail as my main account for work related issues (!)

The folders are listed to the left of the screen as bullet points and in an orange font. None of the links work.

Have tried logging in and out a few times and have tried firefox and chrome incase it was a browser issue.

Anyone else having this or know why it could be happening?
