I really hope I can get some answers here. Both myself and a colleague are using Outlook 2011. I am on Maverick OS and my colleague is on Mountain Lion. We are experiencing intermittent losses of connection to Exchange 2012. Before we could just not connect to the exchange and after a period of time it would connect. Now we get an error message 'end of file reached' when trying to send an email. 

Can anyone please point me in the right direction as to how this can be resolved?

My colleague and I are using Sky Drive to share our files and are having issues with syncing.

I have installed Sky Drive on both of our computers and have used the same account to sync them.  There are two things occurring:
  1. Files are sometimes not syncing at all.  My colleague will create a document and it will not appear in my folder or vice versa.
  2. When a file is opened, changed and then re-saved it creates a new file with the old file name and the name of the PC behind it.  For example there may be a file called budget which I will create.  My colleague will then open it, change it and when saving we will have two files one named budget and a new one named Budget TTP-65-34..
We are using this on a school network and our technicians could not seem to figure out what the problem was so I thought I would give this a try as we both love the idea of Sky Drive and it's possibilities.  

If additional information is required I will try to find this out for you.
My colleague in another office has invited me to his SkyDrive group. I was signed into my account from school. (My school, UCF, made an agreement with Microsoft to host student email accounts and such, but has since split the Outlook account from other stuff somehow. https://www.secure.net.ucf.edu/KnightsEmailSelfService/FAQ/.)

When I opened the email, I clicked to view the group. I could see the files and have access to anything, except that I couldn't upload. I clicked Join, and it said there was some error. At length, I eventually clicked decline invitation, and from then on I have no access at all to the group, even though my colleague renewed and sent a fresh invite.

Any ideas?

Our company is using Outlook.com with our own custom domain, set up with the appropriate MX records on our web host. My colleague occasionally has trouble sending me e-mails, usually a reply or forward. They will come back to him with a bounce message.

 

However, today he forwarded me a message. As far as he could tell, the message sent OK, with no error message being returned to him. I never received the e-mail, not in my Inbox or Junk Mail folders.

 

I reviewed the article "I'm not receiving emails sent by my family or friends". Of its suggestions, the only one not in place already was adding my colleague to my contact list. However, it should not be necessary to have someone in my contact list in order to receive an e-mail from them, in the junk mail at the very least.

 

This is a serious issue, as we cannot operate with e-mails not being delivered without warning.

Hi All!

My client was away for a holidays and he asked me to forward his emails to a colleague, now he's back, and I need to change mail forwarding back. I can't do this, it says:

This feature is currently disabled. We're trying to discourage spammers - sorry to get in your way.

Verify your account and you'll be able to use this and all other features right away.


When I click "Verify Account" it says:


Our server is having a problem. We're working to fix it as soon as we can, so try again in a few minutes.


Any workaround on this?


Hi all! My colleague is receiving duplicate emails in her inbox as well as sub folders. We use an IMAP setup with Outlook. She doesn't have rules set up and they do not appear in the online web client (we don't use gmail!) I've change sync times and played around with some other minor configurations. Is there anything else I can do without having to remake an identity? Does anyone know why this happens? Thanks!

How can I send all the contacts in one of my Windows Live Mail categories to a colleague? Any helpful ideas welcomed
Hi there,

I have set up several "rules" for different colleague's email addresses. Emails I receive are going straight to folders, like I want them to, but I don't receive any type of notification that I have received an email in the first instance. No noise. No red icon at the bottom of my screen..

Is there anyway I can create some form of notification or alert?

I am on Outlook 2011 for Mac.
