I am thinking using Outlook.com instead Hotmail but I can not find how to get Hotmail Highlights, can ypu help me?

using outlook for mac 2011, version 14. 2. 5
OS X, version 10.8.2
Have 14 emails in my inbox
but software say there is 33
The 19 are in there but invisible
If i click on on it shows as a blue panel
I cannot delete them
Also
it is showing some duplicates as well i.e.
email 1 is at the top of the inbox window
and also appearing at the bottom, bit underneath the invisable ones
Please help if you can
It says verify server information is entered correctly?
I have not changed anything so what is wrong and how do i correct it.
I am having problems with syncing Outlook 2011 and it is messing up Office365. I tried uninstalling Outlook 2011 for Mac but am not successful. How could I do a clean uninstall? Thanks.
If When I try and select a link in a signature of an email received to respond, I do not get the option of selecting the master account settings set up in the Outlook profile. It wants to default to an iCloud account or personal email account. I do not
get the option to select the corporate exchange account. How can I add this for the exchange account be my default account?
