I recently purchased a MacBook Pro with Mountain Lion installed.  I added Office for Mac: 2011, Home & Business.  OS and Office fully updated.

I have an IMAP e-mail account.  Outlook is not connected to an exchange server.

There are messages not showing up in Outlook that are showing in my inbox on the server.

Troubleshooting steps:
Used Microsoft Database Utility to rebuild my Identity.
Used Microsoft Database Utility to create a new identity.
Deleted ALL Identities and rebuilt a new one.
Configured Mail to connect to same server without issue and no missing messages.
Removed all filters.

Additional information:
Status bar indicates "All folders are up to date."
Status bar indicates "Connected to mydomain"
Enabled Schedule "Send & Receive All" and added action to Receive Mail.
When I do a "Send & Receive All" from schedules, Outlook indicates downloading 6 messages, but the server has 10 messages in the user's inbox.  She has 4 messages in Outlook.  That does total 10.

Hello all,

Just wondering, how to, or is there a way, to set up an Office 365 (Exchange) Calendar (account) in Mountain Lion's Calendar app? (formerly iCal)

The reason being, I don't always launch Outlook 2011 every time I am on my home iMac, but I would still like to view my office calendar somewhere, like on the Calendar app in Mountain Lion, from time to time.

I have successfully set up my Office 365 Exchange account (same account) on both iPad and iPhone.  But doesn't seem to be working on the Mac.

Thanks and cheers

Have Office:mac2011 installed on new Imac running Mountain Lion upgrade. Major problem with Outlook. No matter what command I use I get a "unknown error" information message. Powerpoint, Excel and Word word as advertised -- but Outlook is useless. Any workaround?
When i paste the image on my signatures, the space that`s supposed to use the image remains (the cursor is below); but is blank"
Since migration from Entourage to Outlook with Mountain Lion as O/S I was outlook was crashing with the message: "Database Daemon Fatal Error" After various patches to Outlook and O/S  the frequency of crashes reduced substantially.  The frequency has increased dramatically when i migrated to Lion O/S.  How can i fix this as its extremely frustrating
Since I upgraded to Mountain Lion the sync between Outlook and iCal (and contacts) is dead. Lots of applications are dependent upon this sync.  Most of all, the sync with iPhone and iPad.

I am a business user.  Outlook is the best Email/Contact/Calendar program out there.  I need to use Outlook and MS Office.  I am not going to stop using them but I would like to see what/if Microsoft is going to do to support this.  This is a huge hole!  There is a post that MS Office is ready for Mountain Lion, that is just plainly not true.

Has anyone else been able to get around this problem?  Any ideas?  Third Party apps to sync?

Thanks.
just installed Mountain Lion.  As soon as I start typing I get a message that Outlook has to shut down and the computer reboots
On the Microsoft Support page describing known issues with Office for Mac on Apple OS X 10.8 Mountain Lion, there is a link in the Summary for "more information about known issues...":

http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?LinkId=255462

When clicked, the link redirects this URL:

http://mac2.microsoft.com/help/office/14/en-us/word/item/5eb4aafa-5457-4ce0-8aa3-4b58cfdeeddc

which then redirects to a generic error page:

http://mac2.microsoft.com/help/GenericError.htm?aspxerrorpath=/help/topic.aspx

stating: The web server is unable to respond to your request at this time.

I just loaded OS X Mountain Lion, and am seeing some very odd behavior with Outlook, but want to find out more on the known issues details before jumping to any conclusions.

Thanks,

Jaren

I am using Outlook 2011 14.2.3 on Mountain Lion

I am unable to rebuild the database and i followed the steps from section 'if the rebuild or repair fails' in the link below which did not help either

I have mails in then which are really important

Hi I have Aperture 3.3.2 and mountain lion on my new mac book retina but I can not email photos using Outlook 2011. When I click 'SHare' outlook opens up an email with the title called 'Files' but no files are attached.

Please can you tell me how I can fix this? I saw an older discussion which stated to create a new applescript file but that did not work either.

Thanks
