In the last few weeks Live Mail is not downloading all incoming mails from my ISP's webmail to the inbox. Each time I open it up it is downloading some, others disappear completely, only to appear in the Mail inbox around 2 weeks later. If there are 4 mails in my webmail, 3 new ones get downloaded along with one old one, but all four disappear from my webmail so the problem appears to be Mail not my ISP webmail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Live essentials several times but the problem keeps occurring. For info I am using vista home premium 32 bit version. I am now currently using an old  live essentials 2009 version which so far seems ok. but of course Windows update keeps trying to update to the latest version.
I have followed the procedure described for exporting Live Mail files from one PC to an external hard drive, with the goal of importing them into Live Mail on a new PC, but the export doesn't pick up any actual files, just a single heading, such as "Drafts". The only thing I could do this successfully with was the Contacts, which I did separately.
I have several contact categories containing up to 60 contacts but when I send an e-mail using a contact list it will not send as Live Mail says the category list  does not contain any contacts so the e-mail is not sent,  small ctegories with 8 contacts will not send e-mails either
 How do I fix?
For the last few hours when I try to see if I have any mail in Windows Live Mail all I receive is the error message "server error 0x80072EFD".How do I regain access again?.
I transferred content from the old computer to the new one (XP to W7) using Belkin.   I used the import process within Live Mail which sent all the unread mail one place and created an Import Folder in Storage.  However, the Import Folder is empty.  Is there a way to direct ALL the files into storage?  The import process within Live Mail does not designate where it will send the files and does not give the user an option.   Is there another way?
Normal emails sent by Live Mail are sent correctly.  When I attached a picture, the receiver gets sometimes 10 copies of the message.  I don't know what to do to correct this.
Seems Im not cut out for this windows live. I cant seem to get it to retrieve message from my cox account. Continue getting the POP3 error, hasnt responded in 60 seconds, would you like to wait another 60 seconds. With this error message if I hit stop. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Unable to send or receive messages for the Cox  account. A time-out occurred while communicating with the server.

I tried to send an Email with a JPEG attachment which proved too large for the recipients inbox, now Live mail spends all it's time fruitlessly resending it.

How do I perminately delete it please?

Windows Live Mail - when I initially got my laptop and signed into Live mail, my incoming mail would show an icon (attachment for Word, Excel, Photo etc.,) on the note itself.  I could access the attachment by clicking on the icon.  However, when I get attachments on Live Mail now I have to double click on the 'paper clip' to have the icon become visible and then click on the icon to open the attachment.  How do I return to the original format?

Perhaps this is a 'glitch' with my laptop (HP Pavilion G Series) rather than Live Mail.  Does anyone have any suggestions?
