Hi,

I have set up my e-mail account with my local internet service provider to forward all incoming mails to my Hotmail (now Outlook.com) account.  This normally works fine but I sometimes notice that certain mails are not forwarded; I only receive them in my (hard drive) MS Outlook, not in Hotmail.   I've searched the junk and other folders for it but they are just not there.  I tried to figure out which e-mails specifically are not forwarded; it are mails sent directly to me (e.g. list serve mails all arrive normally in Hotmail as well as newsletters), but I cannot extract a specific pattern to be able to predict or determine exactly which are and which are not forwarded.  Any similar issues; answers why this may be so?  Thanks!
Hi,
I have configured my custom domain to be routed through the outlook server.
I have updated the MX server name and all required entries mentioned in the steps for configuration.
The issue now is that I am able to send mails, but then I am not able to receive mails from others.
Incoming mails go through the old mail box (default mailbox of the host).
Its been more than 48 hrs, still the incoming mails are routed to old mailbox.

Is there any setting need to be done in cpanel of the server host (FYI, my host and domain registrar are different)

Regards,
Rahul
Since more than 6 months ago, my hotmail inbox holds only 5-7days incoming mails. I can not find disappeared mails anywhere. I want to keep all mails not deleted by me stay in inbox. I am subscribed to Windows Live Hotmail Plus.

hello

I use the outlook.com android app at push state - on my galaxy s3 mini.

I don’t receive any notification for new incoming mails - only when I use the refresh key in the app - I see the new mail.

Please advise.

Michael

In my Windows Live Mail,  about 50% of my incoming mails  are tagged as SPAM.  This begun and continues over the past months,. How  can I eliminate the spam tagging?

Even after recently purchasing 100 GB Hotmail Inbox SkyDrive Storage why am I getting mails from Hotmail telling me that I have exceeded my limit of 10240 MB, and also another mail telling me that my hotmail account is growing too fast and I should delete some mails in order to receive new mail ???

Last week my incoming mails were bouncing back to senders stating that my inbox is full. Why should I be deleting old mails in order to receive new ones when the current available inbox storage in my account is 107 GB ?????

In the last few weeks Live Mail is not downloading all incoming mails from my ISP's webmail to the inbox. Each time I open it up it is downloading some, others disappear completely, only to appear in the Mail inbox around 2 weeks later. If there are 4 mails in my webmail, 3 new ones get downloaded along with one old one, but all four disappear from my webmail so the problem appears to be Mail not my ISP webmail. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Live essentials several times but the problem keeps occurring. For info I am using vista home premium 32 bit version. I am now currently using an old  live essentials 2009 version which so far seems ok. but of course Windows update keeps trying to update to the latest version.
