Windows Live Mail No attachments from some senders.

I am unable to receive attachments from two senders using Windows Live Mail email on one computer. It receives the email the email in question with no attachments. There are NO ERROR MESSAGES. It does receive attachments from other senders.

I have a second email account, using Windows Live Mail and it receives the attachments that the first comuter did not receive. Both Windows Live Mail settings are set up exactly the same. Both compuers are Dell Vostro 460. Both have Mcafee VirusScan + AntiSpyware Enterprise 8.8. Both email accounts are going to the same email server.

The senders email server is a different email server than the receivers email server. I have tried to uncheck the Do not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could potentially be a virus. This did not help.

If I look at the account on the web the attachments are there. But when it downloads the email to the computer the atachments are not there.

Unable to open e-mails I’ve received

I'm unable to open e-mails using Firefox.

I can get into hotmail but when I click on the e-mail subject to open it nothing happens. When I click on the sender to open it it sends me back to my homepage.

No problems when I use Internet Explorer from the same computer though.

Anybody know why?

Outlook or IMAP-folders?

What e-mail folders in my newly created IMAP-mail account in Outlook 2011 for Mac, actually "belong" to my web server (one.com) and what folders are from Outlook?

Under my domain name in My Outlook which is my INBOX I have now two folders for sent (one in English called "Sent" and one in Swedish: "Skickat"). The same goes for "Draft" ("Utkast") and "Trash" ("Borttaget").

Which folders should I use when I'm in "Settings" direct the e-mails to certain folders? Does it matter?

I also want to keep a copy of all my e-mails (incoming and sent e-mails) on my computer (in case my web server one.com would crash!), but I don't want to download the e-mail permanently from my web host to my computer since I want to be able to see the e-mails on several devices (iMac, Air and iPhone).

What settings do I do to download a copy of all e-mails?

Can I download even a copy of my old e-mails to my computer? These old e-mails have been imported to my web server from a PC and are now viewable on My Mac through my IMAP account, but I can only see them when I'm online.

Problem with Messenger signing me out.

For some reason my messenger account keeps signing me out when it is inactive for a period of time....it's a pain because I cannot hear if someone tries to send me an instant message and my screen saver is on...I have done nothing to any settings on my computer. This has just been happening recently. Is there someplace I can look to change some setting to leave my messenger on until I decide to turn it off myself. I have never had this problem before and I am baffled by it. Can someone help? Would be much appreciated. Thanks

Windows Live Mail: syncing read/unread and deleting messages across two computers using POP3

I've WLM 2012 installed on two computers for accessing the same e-mail account using POP3. When I read an e-mail on one computer the message turns from bold type to normal type to indicate it's been read, but it remains in bold on the other computer until it's read on that machine. Also, when I delete either a read or unread message on one computer I also have to delete the message a second time on the other computer. Is there a way where what I do on one computer, under the POP3 protocol is mirrored on the other computer ? Does Skydrive provide this sort of functionality (I'm not particularly interested in storing files) ?

I want my old hotmail live.com back am not computer savvy nor do I understand the instructions very well...so please keep it simple and give me back my old hotmail....am certain not ready for these changes by any means

why does My system continuously freeze (for 20 – 40 seconds with the rainbow wheel) when using Outlook for mac?

The rainbow wheel appears on the computer screen and the Outlook program is stalled quite regularly. It happens every time I click on the program for any function (estimated frequency = 20 -30 times per hour). It is negatively effecting my productivity. Are there settings I can change to stop this? Is this just what you get when you run a Microsoft product on Mac? I don't have this problem with Word, Excel or Power Point - just Outlook.

Any advice will help

I exported the Oultook PST file from a Windows 7 Ultimate/Outlook 2010 PC and then imported it to Outlook for Mac 2011 ( Mac OS X Lion). Some of the attachments have been transferred but the majority have been lost.

Is there some setting I should have made prior to exporting the file or prior to the import?
