Windows Live Mail FAQ
Hi.
i have two email accounts which are attached to my outlook. my second account i have in outlook was working fine and then one day i noticed that there were multiple inboxes being created. it looks like there is no plain old 'inbox' but there are about a hundred 'inbox 1' 'Inbox 1.1" 'inbox 1.1.1" and so on. they are all listed below each other. i have tried to delete them all one by one but they just reappear more and more each time i open up outlook.
any ideas???
Suddenly my Preferences - Email Accounts window is not working - only part of the information shows in the window and the window cannot be resized or scrolled. I have restarted the computer and tried operating with just the laptop screen with the additional monitor disconnected - no luck. Sometimes when I go to the email accounts window it is completely non-functional - none of the buttons work (the ones that I can see), and I cannot close the window using the red X.
The only recent change I made was to turn off application sleep as a possible remedy to all of the duplicate emails I was getting. That seemed to work - but now I want to add back my IMAP account and cannot do it! Please help and thank you.
Running Outlook 2011 14.3.9.

On a Windows domain computer running Office 2007 and 2010 we can get outlook program to get mail via http if we go through these steps. Go to the menu bar..then go to
Tools
Options
Mail Setup
Email Accounts
Choose email account
Click change
More Settings
Connection
Outlook Anywhere
Check Connect to Microsoft Exchange by using Http
Click on Exchange Proxy Settings
Type in url in the next pagel
Does Mac office allow you to get email via http and if it does, where do we go to enable it?

I'm locked out of my email accounts which I setup over a year ago and didn't really use them. I can't remember the password and the cel phone number is not correct which would send me a code to reset it. Nor is the email address correct as the one that is there now has been deactivated by yahoo since it wasn't used for over 1-2 years. The secret question I answered wrongly as well.
I've filled out the forms 2-3 times but due to the fact I haven't really used the accounts, i'm not sure of the answers submitted.
Worse case, if I don't use the accounts, will they be released in the future to allow me to choose them again?

Click the Options icon 
, and then click More mail settings.
Under Managing your account, click Your email accounts.
Under Add an email account, click Add a send-and-receive account.
Enter the email address and password of the email account that you want to add to Outlook.com, and then clickNext.
