I've got over 6700 emails in my inbox. Every time I delete them, they return.  One junk message came in today and every time I attempted to delete it, it multiplied.

I have a user that is moving from a Mac back to a Windows-based PC.

They have a large amount of (valuable) email that was imported into Outlook.

My understanding is that the import changes the data to another format, so they aren't really .pst files anymore.

Does anyone have any experience with this?

When replying or forwarding an email (Via Inbox), the status icon on the left hand side does NOT display once the message shows that it's been successfully sent.  Any assistance on this matter is much appreciated.
The send/receive function does not download all emails from the server to my mac.  As such I am missing vast numbers of emails.  This is a particular problem when I move location and it will not download email that I have received whilst mobile.  It synchronises in the office and then when I return home it will download mail received after I have arrived but nothing in the intervening period.
I know this is elementary but I do not know how to set up my MacBook to retrieve emails from Hotmail.  Google does not seem to be able to get me to the correct answers.
Original title: outgoing mail att can not connect to server

I am having difficulty sending att address mail from outlook on my imac. I have configured the settings in tools for outbound mail but nothing seems to work. I can receive but not send. Any advise would be appreciated

Unfortunately, I completed all the updates through the MS AutoUpdater one after another this past Thursday evening without getting any message warning me of any potential consequences vis a vis the problems presented in this forum. I have spent many hours trying all of the methods that MS and others have posted related to installation of SP2, but have not seen any solutions related to the upgrade to 14.2.2.  I get the same message from the MS Database Utility that it cannot rebuild my database.  Any thoughts on the best method to get back all my contacts, calendar, messages, etc. as quickly as possible?  Should I uninstall Office for Mac 2011 altogether and then re-install? How do I go about uninstalling everything without losing my Outlook database??

Title says it all... is this the forum? I am a very... long time user of Office. Wayback to the non-GUI days of MS-DOS. I finally made the switch to Mac and OS X. I have seen tons of little things that just don't work quite right in the Mac version of Office. These are not nits, they are bugs. Where do I report them? Here?

Thanks, I just want to help make Office: mac better.

In trying to open Outlook (Microsoft Office for Mac 2011) I get the message: "There is a problem with the Office database.  To use the database, you must first rebuild it using the Database Utility."  After selecting rebuild and letting it go through the steps I get the message "Your database could not be rebuilt."   I am updated to 14.2.2 (120421).  I have not been able to fix this problem with any of the online suggestions I have found thus far.  Anyone have a recommended fix to open Outlook and ensure no data is lost?
