I'm now using Outlook 2011 for Mac and it doesn't appear to have an option to sort mail by Type/Kind like in Outlook 2007 for Windows.  Any ideas?
When I send emails they are rejected and a window pops up that says " 5.7.1 this email has been rejected. The email message was detected as spam.  error code 17099"
I have deleted a contact folder, I click on the trash can.  I can not undo it. Is there a way to restore my contacts?

Lost all mails in Outlook after a 'database rebuild'. Tried Hail Mary but didn't work. I got the message 'unable to reconstrict database'. Searched internet fora but nothing worked. Is there anybody who encountered the same problem and managed to restore the mails, attachements and folders? Thanks for your help...

I use Google Calendar, syncing with iCal for both work and personal appointments. How do I configure Outlook 2011 to stop syncing calendar entries between my Mac and Microsoft Exchange servers? In other words, I only want to send and receive emails but not manage my appointments using Outlook 2011.


I also use Outlook 2010 on my PC and would like to do the same.


Macbook Pro using Office 2011 for Home and Business Mac receives clicking noise or chick noise each time outlook checks for mail
I have 1 exchange email and 6 POP accounts and I receive 6 clicks as per the scheduling of checking for mail
If I remove 2 POP accounts I will receive 4 clicks
Thought it was hard drive problem or stabiliser problem when moving so I purchased the new retina 15"
Same problem until I realised it was directly from the POP accounts
Any suggestions would be appreciated

there was a drop menu where you could chose to send and save in a folder of your choice
I have attempted to insert the disk into my new Macbook Pro Computer i just purchased. I will hear the disk run, and nothing happens after i insert the disk. THere are no prompts to follow and all my applications are closed. I have started the computer with the disk in and also with the disk out. I have attempted several times and i cannot get any prompts to follow along to install Office Mac. I have looked for the "office installer" icon but nothing is prompted.
THis cannot be that hard to do?

I cannot send any outgoing messages.  It was working for months and then nothing, but the following error message:Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods. The same error message as others have posted, but it's for outgoing emails.  I am using a new Mac Book Pro. What is the solution, anyone?
