Office for Mac, 2011
In Outlook my Junk e-mail folder indicates it contains one junk email when in fact there are none.
How do I correct this error?
thanks
i have no cd drive on my new notebook and I was wondering how do I get the office mac program on my computer?

My "deleted items" always has one unread email showing, but i don't have any emails in box, also sometimes there seems to be an email there but can't delete it.

They're connected, but how do i get rid of it??

Help please
Brand new MacBook Pro with new installation of Office for MAC with all the latest updates.

With Outlook 2003 on my old PC, I had a UNREAD MAIL folder which showed the unread mail and the folders they were in (sent to the folders via a rule.)

How can I replicate this in Outlook 2011?

Note: Outlook .pst file was imported from Outlook 2003 (PC) into Outlook 2011 for Mac

Thanks...Dan

While I am in my tasks I need to be able to email a task to someone for updates but the email functions are greyed out
Have MacBook Pro and work off an exchange server (Rackspace).

Just recently I can no longer search Contacts for known contacts; nor can I build Contact Group lists.  I was able to do both until last week.  And of course this makes it very difficult to construct a mass email for an announcement (eg 750 names)--essentially I have to write in each name vs simply pointing and clicking.

Note Rackspace confirms that problem is local--eg they could search my contact list from their end.

I should also point out that I've Microsoft Office folks have 2x know over the past month worked on my Outlook manually for problems with stalled Outlook.  The problems I outline above resulted only following working with Microsoft last week to correct frozen Outlook.  I called today and they now refer me to this portal, because I "work off an exchange server".  All rather frustrating.

Pls advise . . .

Thanks.

I gather from reading these emails I did a bad thing today in Outlook for Mac 2011-- I moved 10000 emails from one folder to another. Now my Mac is essentially underpowered as it is stuck trying to "Uploading..." to Exchange. It works at a about 1 email every 3-5 seconds, and all the while it pins my CPU. My Macbook Air fan is about to break under the strain.

Thing is, I seem to be stuck. I cannot stop the process (clicking the little x beside it in the Progress dialog does nothing). Crashing Outlook stops it, but it will restart whenever I reopen Outlook.

Is there ANY way I can kill this process and go back to deleting/moving messages in a more regulated fashion? I can't figure it out.

Thanks to anyone who can help.

PS- I think it is insane that MS doesn't have some sort of a dialog that warns against bulk moves like this, seeing that this is the result.
Outlook (Office Mac 2011/v14.2.3) worked fine, until updated Office [on a MBPro/OS X.7.5] -- now Outlook either immediately aborts, or hangs/fails to connect to server ["Not responding"]; Word and Excel both work fine.  Rebuilt Microsoft Database (twice!), rebooted MBPro several times, but no improvement -- Any brilliant suggestions?
