Actually,  my email in box comes up on screen,....I have unchecked the "Remember Me" box......If I do enter an incorrect password, my in box does not

display......this happens on all of my computers

I just switched form @hotmail to @outlook. My MSN contacts all appear to be offline now and just displays emails and no nicknames.
On new Dell Inspiron 17R laptop with Windows 7  and MS Live mail installed, I am importing files from an old PC running Outlook Express 6 on Win XP.
I have successfully copied the old e-mail files (*.dbx) but cannot find how to import  the Address Book (.wab file) into the Contacts file. Information I find on the web and on Microsoft refers to  "Tools" tab or option which seems to  have disappeared in the latest version.

Please  explain.
I'm not able to open Messenger, so having tried for 24 hours to sort this decided to uninstall Windows essentials, but cannot....just get this error message 80070641.
In Windows Live Messenger 2011, I have it set to start on system start-up.. but it doesn't.

I also have Windows Live Mail set to start up Messenger when I run it.. but Messenger also does not.

I have tried a repair install of both from the Programs applet in the Control Panel.  No improvement. Any suggestions as to why. and if possible, how I can fix them?
The Windows Live Mail e-mail client (e-mail program) purports to support blocking of individual e-mail addresses or domains.  But when I try to enter something like *.info as a domain (meaning that I want to block any address from dot-info), the program won't let me do it.  What is the proper procedure, please?
I have been told that compacting my deleted email messages in Windows Live Mail completely removes them from the computer.  Is this correct?  And, if so, why is the word "compacting" used when it doesn't mean removal .... only squshing them.

Original Title : Virus

I have a problem with Windows Hotmail account. It is telling me that I have sent a "private message" to most in my address book however I haven't. It appears to be a virus however the microsoft scanner and Bullguard scanner are not identifying it. What do I do?

My subfolders have disappeared from view in Windows Live.  They are still there with emails in them when I go through View and then Go to Folders.  How can I get them displayed as standard ?

I would like to know if it is possible to have group video calls using windows live messenger. The operating sytems concerned are Windows XP, Windows Vista and Windows 7. All parties concerned have the latest version of Windows Live Messenger.

Please can you tell us if this is currently possible. If it is not possible at the moment why is this the case and do you have any plans to make it possible in the future.

Thanks,

Yours sincerely
