wanting an email voice notification like "you got mail". i use windows live mail

<Windows 7>

Email Messages recieved from server, but not visable in Windows Live Mail account inbox.
I had to reinstall my operating system. I'm using WinXP SP3. Naturally, I had to also reinstall Windows Live Essentials (ver2009). I had to set up my email accounts again but all my Contacts were still there. My problem is that all of my STORAGE FOLDERS are gone. Any idea if or how I can retrieve those?

My hard drive died and I had to get a new one. All my email was stored on a different drive. When I receive emails, it usally just shows who it is from such as John Doe. When I copy or import emails back into the program, it puts the name in quotation marks follwed by the return path between <> (example "John Doe" <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>. He makes the list of emails hard to sort and takes up a lot of space.

In addition when I copy emails from my sent folder to the new folder created for my mail contacts, it shows it was sent to me rather than the actual address where it was sent. I'm sure it's a registry fix but I don't know where to look.

Another issue I have had with Windows Live Mail is email containing pictures. Windows live puts them in a slide show rather than leaving them imbedded in the email itself. This is quire annoying.

Any ideas?

Thanks for your help.

I currently have two accounts and am trying to create a new account.  I'm using the same exact parameters for the new account (with a different email address) but I get the following message when trying to use the account:

Unable to send or receive messages for the Hvc.rr (mochalover) account. An incorrect password was entered. The next time you send or receive messages, you'll be asked to enter your user name and password for this account.

Server Error: 0x800CCC90
Server Response: -ERR invalid user name or password.
Server: 'pop-server.hvc.rr.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x800CCC92
Protocol: POP3
Port: 110
Secure(SSL): No

Thanks for any help you can provide in resolving this problem.

Windows Live Mail have been receiving Error Code Ox8CCC0002.  Will not send out emails, forward or reply emails.  Says "Delete the photomail, create anew one, and try to send it again".  I cleaned out all SENT, TRASH, JUNK, DRAFT, DELETED mail.  This is nothing to Delete or Resend.  Please help, very frustrated.  Have run every update, trouble shooter for the computer I have found.  Please help me fix this problem so I can use my email.  Thank you!  Cheryl
Can't sign in using windows live mail icon on start page.  Can't open windows live mail. When it does open it asks if I want dial up or broadband. will not open when I click on icon. Started getting a pop up wanting to know how I want to sign on -- dial up -- broadband -- everytime I signed on. Have internet options set to never dial a connection as I have broadband. What do I need to do to be able to sign in to windows live mail again?
I recently ran a hardware test on my computer one of which was a fonts tests for 2d graphics. I Opened windows live mail after this and the folders on the left pane are blurry.
