Since the upgrade we can't switch users from the taskbar icon.  We have to sign out, open the messenger window and choose user there.  How do we get it back the way it was, all in one place on the taskbar.
Outlook Express  told me in which category or group each contact was listed so I could easily find and delete them when they asked to unsubscribe.  I cannot find this information anywhere in my contact information.  Is there anywhere or any way I can easily see in which category a contact is listed in Windows Live Mail?
First off, let me explain, WHY I don't want the newer Windows Live!

I don't want it because it's bulky, it takes up too much CPU and freezes easily, and the msn on the left corner is USELESS and I don't need it! Let alone the fact that I can't even change my messenger name to what I want! I don't need internet friends to know my real name! And I don't want important people I email to know my internet pen name! So it'd be nice to be able to change your messenger name to what you want without it affecting your hotmail name!!!

Nobody I know likes it! Everyone complains about it! I really wish that people could be given to option to pick either a simple messenger or that complicated mess!!! That way everyone can be happy! (for whoever in their right mind actually likes the new version)

Anyway, I was happily using the 2009 version of windows live for over a month now and all of a sudden it's asking me to upgrade and won't even let me sign in! I do NOT want to upgrade! I will NEVER upgrade that that disgusting messenger! It has to be the most horrible version of messenger that was EVER created!

Everyone that I know asks me to remove it and install an older version, no one likes it! I've yet to find someone who actually enjoys it!

So yeah, I don't want to upgrade and would like to know if there's a way to stop it from forcing me to upgrade or if I'll have to find an even older version.
So today I had to mandatorily upgrade my window live messenger for XP to whatever version this is and I'm very confused and scared it messed up my web cam capabilities. My partner is across seas and in order for him to see my face I web cam with him, he does not have a web cam for security reasons. I NEED THIS TO WORK. I couldn't find an answer to my question on the msn website on if one way calling can be done. In my last version for XP it could I just clicked on this little call button when he'd sign on. Because he can't be told to sign on as I can't call him, or get in touch with him to get him online now, I can't test this. This account is only for him and I to talk in other words. So there's no way for me to answer my own question. How do I, when he signs on next, do one way web camming? If I can't on this version what DL of messenger will let me? I tried calling technical support and was put on hold 4 diff. times only to be told no one could help me and I had to wait for a simple answer and go to this site. I would greately appreciate a clear answer and directions. I'm very worried I can't web cam with him any more. Again he does not have a mic, or a cam. This is the only way for him to see my face and hear my voice, please help me make sure everything is okay for the next time he signs on. Time is so very precious for us with him deployed.
I use my email frequently and most likely have a lot in storage.  Is there a way to upgrade my account to a better one?

Please advice.

I am working with Outlook for Office 2011. Three days ago I sent a large file, and received a message from Outlook that it had been sent. It never arrived at the recipient's mailbox, and ever since Outlook has been resending it-I assume that it is this particular email, but I have found no way of confirming this. I have closed Outlook and repoened with 'shift' pressed, but it makes no difference.
I have no outbox, so cannot see what it happening--what is being sent, what is in line. I deleted the original file from the 'sent items' box, but that made no difference. I can see the file being sent when I open Progess in the Window menu, and stop it sending, but there it is again next time I want to send an e-mail.

Any suggestions?
When I receive replies from contacts with localized mail clients, I get, for instance, "SV:" and "VS:" instead of "RE:" and "FW:" as the subject prefix, and Outlook does not group these messages into the conversation. I would like Outlook to treat these messages as a part of the conversation.
