I keep getting messages saying that my outgoing messages are being blocked due to 'suspicious activity' and it only allows me to view my incoming mail. I do not have a password issue.

When I try to 'verify' my account it seeks a mobile number, but I do not have a mobile phone.

It is really ridiculous that microsoft blocked outgoing mail because I cannot do anything except receive mail.

I want microsoft to stop blocking my outgoing email
I just set up a new email account and the first email I tried to send wasn't allowed because I had to verify the account due to suspicious activity using a mobile phone. As the account was only set up 5 minutes previously there was no suspicious activity and as I'm currently travelling I don't have a mobile phone! I tried to verify it using the other option of sending the code to a different email address, but when I try and send an email again the same thing happens. I have no possibility of receiving a code by SMS, how can I use the account?!
I just today signed up for outlook.com to host 3 accounts with my domain name. I was having testing the email accounts using a desktop computer and two mobile devices. At some point I got emails from outlook indicating suspicious activity in a couple of the accounts, requesting that I verify the accounts. When I tried to verify the accounts, I got messages saying that outlook could not send an SMS message.

Is there a way to pay for these accounts so that the sending limits are relaxed? I was going to pay for hotmail plus but there's really no indication anywhere that this would solve my problem. It's not that I send a lot of messages, but for now I can't unblock one of the accounts. how can I reliably verify the accounts also be able to test our various devices without running into this issue?

Is there any specific information posted anywhere so that I can follow the "rules" without getting surprised by getting the accounts blocked?

Thanks in advance for your info.
My hotmail account is locked due to suspicious activity and I've been prompted to have an access retrieval code sent to my alternate email. I've been using this email for over 5 years and the alternate email has been locked out due to inactivity. I've filled out multiple questionnaires requesting info to confirm that I am the owner of the account but to no avail. I've spoken to a rep on the phone, on a live chat and have tweeted Microsoft support but all have told me to keep submitting the questionnaire.

I really need to get back onto my account for various business and school related items.

If anyone can help that would be GREAT. Thanks.

I received the notification a day or so ago that my SkyDrive account has been taken offline for suspicious activity or a violation of Microsoft's Terms of Use agreement or Code of Conduct. It really surprised me to see this, because I only use Skydrive for homework. I haven't been on SkyDrive for a couple of weeks due to travelling, so I don't see how I could have violated anything. It's really frustrating to have this happen without warning or notice and without the option to look at my account and try to fix the issue. If you could please look into this, I would great appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

I received the notification a few days ago that my SkyDrive account has been taken offline for suspicious activity or a violation of Microsoft's Terms of Use agreement or Code of Conduct. It really surprised me to see this, because I use my SkyDrive for all of my file storage needs. I haven't been on SkyDrive for a couple of weeks due to travelling, so I don't see how I could've violated anything. I submitted a ticket to the Online Safety Team and never got a response back within the "24 hour" time period. My wife & son have access to my SkyDrive and occasionally uses it for sharing pics with family members. I re-submitted another request today to have my SkyDrive account unlocked. It's really frustrating to have this happen without warning or notice so that people can actually look at their own account and try to fix the issue themselves. If you could please look into this, I would great appreciate it. Thank you for your time.

How can I get my account opened?  I do not believe I have anything on there that would be in violation and if so I would be more than happy to delete it.  the account is *** Email address is removed for privacy ***

Thank you in advance for your help!

Hi,

When I try to access my Skydrive I'm getting "Your account has been shut down Your SkyDrive or your Profile has been taken offline for suspicious activity or a violation of Microsoft's Terms of Use agreement or Code of Conduct. If you would like to request a reinstatement of your account, please contact customer support. I have gone through the re-activation request form and have been issued ticket <removed by moderator>...this has been days ago. How do I get my account resolved? Also, I'm unable to get into my profile to manage it. My email and messenger works okay. What are my next steps?

My husband was able to speak to someone at Microsoft, but to no avail. I really just want to get my data back.
Can someone just unlock my account?
