Suspicous email can anyone tell me if this is lagit or not, all my account info is correct. is it a scam of some sort?

I got an email from (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***) the following is what it said....

Dear *** Email address is removed for privacy ***,

We are sending you this e-mail because Microsoft SmartScreen Technology has detected that your account information is not correct.

This may be because your Hotmail account was accessed from an unfamiliar computer or you have made changes in your account information.

Due , to this you will need to re-activate it your account by simply logging in on the following link:

http://www.hotmail.com/wlive&react/h02/index.php

Failure to activate your account in 24 hours may result in permanent account suspension.

In most situations, you should be able to activate your account in less than one minute.

When I log into the site I get a message sayint that I need a code. It then says that the code will be sent to my alternate hotmail email addy (*** Email address is removed for privacy ***.). This email address is no good. I try to delete the addy but I can't. I got a messege saying that the deletion and code will be sent to the same addy. How do I resolve this issue?

I have received several messages about the validity of my account and asking for various details. - not financial. The lates In the message it says it has been unable to confirm the previous info I sent and that my account will soon be interrupted. Does this come from Hotmail. t has this link - https://login.live.com/login.srf?wa=wsignin2.0rpsnv=11ct=139589340=*** Email address is removed for privacy *** - which takes me to the sign in page.

Does this come from Hotmail. There are several similar messages. One from

Hotmail.ID-2035.uk@wlive-hot.msg.june.shgy.users.co.uk.,,
and

suspicious email asking to re-activate account

I have just received an email (copied text below) telling me my account needs to be re-activated and I need to do this by following a link provided in the email itself. It sounds a bit suspicious, but I wouldn't want my account to be de-activated. Does anyone know or has received a similar email or should I regard this as a phishing scam?
