There is a mail from hotmail live team in my account asking to give login-id, password and other personal details. It has hyperlinks linking to Microsoft sites. It says if the info is not given in 48 hours the account will freeze. It also gives the procedure
to back heavy files saying that hotmail servers are choked. Is this mail which sounds authentic from microsoft or some hacker?
Things just keep getting worse and worse with my Outlook in Office for Mac 2011. I have spent hours on the phone with Microsoft, and have re-built my identity countless times. This has been done to address a host of issues but each time we fix one thing,
something else goes wrong. The current issues are: (1) All of my sent e-mails appear in duplicate in the Sent folder and have to be manually downloaded by opening them individually; (2) Search does not work in mail AT ALL; and (3) when I accept a meeting
request, it does not go into my calendar, the request simply gets deleted. I'm wondering if my Outlook is just hopelessly corrupted at this point. I should perhaps mention that I use Outlook with a gmail account.

My email address that I have had for 10 years has been blocked by Microsoft; along with all my friends and business connection's email addresses. I have been told it is blocked because 'someone' may have been using it without my knowledge. I have trying without success to reestablish my original email address. Can't figure out if it is arrogance or incompetence I am up against; or a combination of both, or? What does one do against a huge
worldwide organisation who don't care if a customer leaves their company. Phoning them to complain is not an option that is given to us.
Does anyone have a snail mail address for Bill Gates or his top executives, where I could sent a registered recorded urgent letter. It would be appreciated. I don't except this kind of treatment and will not except not getting my original email address
back. Anyones help will be really appreciated. Thank you!
A few weeks ago we had a problem with Hotmail. It's been fine since. We are getting calls from someone who says he works for Microsoft. He wants to "take over" our computer and fix problems. He says he knows of problems we don't see yet and it will crash.
Is this legitimate?
When using Outlook 2011 for Mac, the computer slows down randomly. We can start typing and for no reason the beachball will appear for an extended period of time.
We've archived all email older than 3 weeks, cleaned up caches, ran updates and rebuilt the mailbox but the issue persists.
It appears that the Microsoft AU Daemon is the culprit, but I have no idea how to fix it.
Any ideas?
I do not have a smartphone and do not want to use Outlook. But the Microsoft dictators will not let me go back to the Hotmail format because they claim they sent me an e-mail alerting me to the automatic switch. What arrogance!
Is there an easier way to add addresses to your 'blocked' list than selecting the address, copying it, going into options, then blocked lists, then pasting and submitting?
It's such a tedious and annoying method, with so many steps simply to add it to the block list.
Microsoft needs to have a 'Add to blocked List' option direct from your junk mail folder. Simple.

Can the 2011 Outlook for Mac have hyperlinks on pictures as opposed to text? With businesses linking to social media suck as Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn etc, it's a necessary tool!! Come on Microsoft!!
