Hello,

In Outlook 2013, I originally setup Linked connector with a valid LinkedIn user name. My LinkedIn contacts downloaded fine.

I changed my LinkedIn username recently and need to update that information in Outlook 2013.

1. Where is there an option to change LinkedIn username in Outlook 2013?

The option to change or delete LinkedIn account is not there. (The option to delete Facebook account is there though).

2. How do I download LinkedIn contacts? They aren't there anymore.

Please help.

I'm wondering if there are plans to create a guideline article specific to LinkedIn similar to those already created for Facebook & Twitter?

I do not want to add my LinkedIn contacts to my phone contacts to my Skype contacts, how do I do to manage my contacts as I desire?

My status is commonly Invisible. Why it is setup as Available when I open my Hotmail account?

This is a very profound privacy issue, that MS is ignoring. Since my LinkedIn contacts are now also my Whatsapps contacts, and so for and so on, I am using less and less of these resources. I am thinking very seriously on cancelling my Hotmail account.

I have my outlook.com account grabbing contacts from gmail, linkedin, facebook, Skype, and messenger. I can see all the contacts in the outlook.com people section. Non filtered list there.

But when I am syncing my phone, it doesn't pick up the grabbed accounts from those other services. It just gets the ones that are originally from outlook.com/Hotmail.com.

I am using a Lumia 920. How can I use Outlook as my sole source for contacts & calendar?

I MISTAKENLY DOWNLOADED MY LINKEDIN CONTACTS TO MY OUTLOOK.COM ACCOUNT.  I HAVE REMOVED THE LINK TO LINKEDIN FROM MY OUTLOOK ACCOUNT BUT I CANNOT DELETE THE CONTACT FROM MY OUTLOOK.COM CONTACT LIST. MUST I RECONNECT TO LINKEDIN AND THEN TRY TO REMOVE THEM?  DOES ANYONE KNOW. I FOLLOWED THE DIRECTIONS IN THE HELP SECTION ABOUT REMOVING LINKEDIN CONTACTS BUT IT DID NOT WORK. PLEASE ADVISE.....

My contacts don't appear to be syncing properly in a number of ways:

  1. I've linked my LinkedIn account to my Outlook.com account. There are some LinkedIn contacts that don't synchronize with Outlook.com (most do sync). Why would certain contacts not sync?
  2. When syncing with Windows 8.1 Pro, there are some contacts that don't sync with the People app. The same contacts sync just fine with my Windows Phone and other devices (Android, iPhone, etc). Am I doing something wrong?

Thanks in advance.

This is the message I get constantly if I try to open a mail send by LinkedIn:

There was a problem with the Outlook service (a temporary network connectivity issue that has nothing to do with your computer). Please try again.  If you keep seeing this message, go to Service status to check if there's a problem with Outlook.
