Hello,

I am working on an internet project for a school and they sent me this link: https://cal.veracross.com/sae/events.ics?groups=1776

Because it's used for a an online calendar feed. I made the mistake of clicking on the link and it downloaded and events.ics document that automatically opened in Outlook. I noticed later on that I now have ALL of the calendar events being displayed in my Outlook Calendar feed and I never wanted that or even set it up in Outlook that way. It must have added the Internet calendar feed automatically.

Now I'm trying to delete that feed and scouring the entire internet but not able to find any support. Some posts say that it's not possible to add internet calendar feeds with Outlook.

Please advise on how I can remove this if possible.

Thank you,
Andrew
New install last week on Windows 8 - new PC  Live Mail 2012 worked 1 day then when I click link to Live Mail ( 3 different icons) I see message "checking for new messages - names  for my wife and I.  Pop up on screen said executing for over 24 hours and  we could not get into it so tried using Task Mgr to End process and even tried re downloading but the process seems to be stuck and no known way to get it fixed.

I reset the password using the mechanism provided when you click the 'forgot password' link on the sign-in page. Once reset via a security question, I signed-in with the new password, and all emails are missing. I had a new (unread) email from the Hotmail Team with subject 'Getting started with Hotmail'. I've had the account for years. All contacts appear to be still there. When I click 'recover deleted messages' in the Deleted folder: also, nothing. I do not understand how my account could have been reset? The 'Getting started with Hotmail' email is also confusing.

Since the disastrous changes came with the Windows 8 unification I can't delete old statuses (personal messages) in the social network stream of the Windows Live Messenger.
When I switch to the full size view to see the social network media and go to "me", I can see all my old personal messages I posted the last three months but I can't delete them. The cog shows me just a link with (useless) "more options". Since the whole Live Profile pages are scrubbed there's no way to find elementary settings like these on the new Microsoft account pages as well. I hope this will be fixed soon or you have a helpful advice to solve this issue.

note: Terms may be incorrect, I use the German country setting.
I am unable to use links from Windows Live Mail to Internet Explorer and receive a message that either h.link.dll or idndl.dll is not designed to run in Window or contains an error. If I access the mail using the web browser (BT Yahoo) the link in the mail operates perfectly and directs me to the web page. I have tried a windows live mail repair, uninstalled Live Essential and reinstalled it but all to no effect. Can anyone help please.
Hi,

Every time I try to login Messenger, "Verify your account" message displays, when I click on the link, it leads me to a page to enter the Text I receive on my mobile or alternative email. However, everytime I enter the code the same page keeps displaying again and again. So far, I have received more than 20 message containing a new code and I enter the new code every time with no luck.

Your help is appreciated.

Thanks,
Tareq Hadid
I am trying to send a holiday e-card that has animation to some of our clients. I have Outlook 2011 for Mac. The email is set up in html w/ the image embedded in the body.  It works and plays perfectly in my Outlook when I send it to myself, without having to view it in a web browser. However, when I email it to other people in our office who have 2007 and 2010 versions of Outlook for Windows, they have to click on the link to be able to view the animation. Is there a solution to this problem? It seems pretty silly that the animation would play across all email platforms besides Outlook 2007 and 2011. Thanks in advance.
When trying to access a link in a windows live mail message. I get a box containing the following message "C:\ProgramFile\WindowsLive\Installer\WLSRes.dll is either not designed to run in Windows or it contains an error. etc" I have not made any changes to the computer or installed new software since the last occasion it worked properly.  I am not sure if it is relevant but the electricity supply failed yesterday evening while the computer was on but not running any program. Help would be appreciated.
So someone logged into my hotmail. Nothing is lost and I just changed the password after you told me to do so. But my mother got this weird email with link to virus in it from me and I have like 46 "delivery status notofication" emails, so I assume it sent out like hundred emails with links to virus. But I cant see them from sent messages. So my question is that will it keep doing it in the future? I have received those emails from my friends and not only once, but many times. So should I just delete the account somehow or what?
