I have accidentally added a contact as a resource, and now he only shows up as a recent room. How do I fix this?

I'm using Outlook 2011 for MAC and I have somehow accidentally added a contact as a resource.  Now that contact only shows up as a recent room when I add them to meeting invites.  This is deriving me CRAZY!  How do I fix this?  Thanks!

 I have people / email addresses embedded in my list of contacts that I can see when I go to send email to, but not in my active contact list where I can edit them out, and delete these unwanted bogus contacts.  In other words, I did not add them, but they are there anyway, and I can not delete them.

Please help.

Why do email address show up with I click on To to send an email that aren’t in my Contacts List?

When I want to send an email out and click on To:, email address come up that I don't have in my Contacts List and I have no idea who they are.

Since they're not in my Contact List, I can't delete them. Any ideas?

Can’t see sender’s email address – only their name

When opening an email, I can only see the senders name not their email address. So for example it will show:

Mickey Mouse

If you hover over the name (assuming it is not in your address book) it it will bring up a window showing the name "Mickey Mouse presence unknown"
Double clicking or right clicking brings no options to see the email address.

If the contact is in your address book the on hover window will still say: "Mickey Mouse presence unknown" and then show the contacts telephone nos. If you click on the contact icon beneath this - it brings us the contact record - but no indication of which email address the email was sent from. So if your contact has multiple email addresses you have no idea which email address the email came from.

This is completely unlike entourage which will show the name and email address as follows: Mickey Mouse <*** Email address is removed for privacy ***>

Any ideas how I can get this to work in Outlook 2011 ??

"to" autocorrect improperly

on 'new' I use the "to" to insert an address but it does not update to the new contact list. I deleted a contact and renamed it, the old form  does not show in the regular 'contact' list but SHOWS in the 'to' list and wont let me type any form of that contact, whether new or old. It is stocked on the email address, and won't take any changes to the name.

a name shows up in forwards but not on contact list how do you delete it/

I noticed that when I forward something in Hotmail, a name comes up as a contact that I do not recognize. It does not show up in my contacts list. How do I remove this from the forwards list of names and addresses?

When I type a new email and bring up my contacts, the contact list has contacts in there that I did not put there or know.  When I go into my contact list to manage it the addresses don't show up there.  How do I get rid of them and how did they get in there?

I created and sent a video message to a contact in Windows Live Messenger. In my email folder online, I can only see the "date" that it was created. I am interested to know the "TIME" I created it but I do not have my messages set to be saved in Windows Live Messenger. How do I find out what time I created the video message that i sent to my contact in Windows Live Messenger?

How do I delete an unwanted contact when it only appears in the drop down list of addees when forwarding emails but not in my Contacts list?

I recently noticed an AOL contact in my drop down list of addees when forwarding emails but this AOL contact does not show in my Contacts list so I can delete it.

Problem is: <removed by moderator>

I have notified AOL about this matter and am waiting for their response.

I reset my account password as recommended by Hotmail. anything else I can do to correct this issue and prevent a reoccurance?
