Friends have changed their e-address. I’ve changed the contacts list but the old address still shows up as a choice when typing in the TO box for new mail. How do you get rid of the old address?

After my mandatory update to Windows Live Essentials 2011 I have lost my contact list!  Nor can I create a new contact list.  How can this situation be corrected?

Somehow someone put a contact in my contact list in bold letters that says "Adult Room". I have tried to get rid of it numerous times but it remains. How do I delete it from my contact list ?

I've removed duplicates from my contact list at least three times but when I opened it again a few moments ago the contacts had again been duplicated. What have I done to cause this?

Someone else sending spam using my account

Someone has been sending spam *Removed information for security purposes using my address --there are all these deliveryfailures to all these addresses on my contact list and I tried to send a warning to everyone on my contact list and the same thing happened to me: there's a deliveryfailure, except instead of using my name it says the same thing, that it's from ebayele. I changed my password, but I really don't know what that has to do with resolving the issue I have now :/

Help!  I am getting emails that contain a link to advertising.  These emails have one of my Contacts in the 'From' field, even though that person has NOT sent me the message.  Has my Contact list been hacked?

I am constantly getting IM from people that are not in my contact list on windows live messenger, it dosnt matter what i reply to them they just keep coming back on, making lude remarks, its as if they are automated, its becoming a nusiance now, ive uninstalled and reinstalled but its made no difference, anyone help please.

Well this seems to be regular since one or two months now.
I got a contact list with +1000 contacts, never heard of them thought.
So it always says:

Most times there is some attachment file I obviously don't want to open.

Also there are some quite suspicious ads on the hotmail homepage.



I already changed the password and reinstalled my os, but is it possible to delete all contacts and the connection to the messenger?
