Got the home/student version of Office 2011.  Apparently it needs a separate product id.  Where do you get it?  Surely you don't have to buy the professional version.  Why have it included if it can't be used.

Thanks for any help
Original Title: outlook 2011 mountain lion
As many have said, Outlook 2011 for Mac runs like a dog after updating to OSX Mountain Lion. After powering up the macbook and launching Outlook, it sets up my identity for fifteen minutes. Then everything runs slow for another half hour or so. It's made Outlook nearly unusable. No solution I have read/tried works. Apple points at Microsoft. Microsoft points at Apple. That's of no use to the user, guys. We're stuck in the middle with no source of help. Microsoft - you guys really need to address this - even if it means talking to Apple. Together you need to find a solution and put it out there for us immediately.
I had an older version of Outlook (for a PC) that allowed me to view upcoming calendar events on the right hand side of my inbox.  Currently I'm using Outlook 2011 for Mac, and I'm unable to find this setting.  Is it possible; if so - how?  Thanks!
In Outlook my Tasks are arranged by category. I would like to have the same sorting in My Day. At present the tasks are arranged alphabetically with the categories mixed up and I can't work out how to change this.
I'm using Outlook from Office:mac 2011. Every time I type "I" and a single apostrophe in a plain text email, Outlook wants to capitalize the next letter and stop accepting input as soon as I enter a space.
For example:
  • typing I'd becomes I'D
  • typing I'm becomes I'M
This actually happens no matter what letter (or how many letters) come after the apostrophe. For example:
  • typing I'x becomes I'X
  • typing I'fgggs becomes IFgggs
In all cases, as soon as I finish the word with a space, that first letter after the apostrophe becomes capitalized and Outlook stops accepting any further typing. I have to hit Command-Z to undo this auto-formatting to allow me to keep typing. Note that this only happens with Plain Text emails and does not happen with HTML emails.
Hi there, all my other Microsoft Office products work ok, but when i try to open Outlook, it flashes up on the screen then disappears, i dont get any error messages, but desperately need to get to my email !
Any help would be amazing...
I have setup email account in Mac Outlook. It copied all incoming emails but didn't copy any sent messages. How to import all sent messages and also contacts.
My inbox and dock icon are showing that I have 1 unread email...even though I have no emails (items) in my inbox.  My OSX is Mountain Lion.  I have no idea how to solve this problem.  Thanks
