I have recently upgraded my laptop from Windows XP to Windows 7 Professional.  I receive emails through Windows Live Mail.  I receive a pop-up that says:

Windows Live Mail

A problem occurred while trying to open this message.

A problem has occurred.  Please try again.

There is also a block with OK option inside.

Question:  How do I get rid of this pop-up as it denies me access to many emails...sometimes one email...sometimes all the emails.

Thank you!

So I am not the only one experiencing all incoming emails going directly to my trash bin.  How do we all fix it?

Hi

In the midst of checking emails suddenly the text in incoming emails has become extremely small and also in previous read emails that were received in standard size text. This doesn't appear to be a problem when writing them. I can't seem to find out how to restore the text to its original size. Can anyone help please?

Thanks

My Galaxy smartphone alerts me to incoming emails which have arrived on my laptop. If I use the smartphone to send an immediate reply, the recipient gets this reply as normal, but then it bounces back to my sent box on the laptop, appearing as an email sent every few minutes, perpetually. I detected this phenomenon after sending four reply emails via smartphone, then spotted that they were repeating in my sent box. I've tried all sorts of ways to disable the repeat, but only deleting them individually down the list is effective. Today I have 16600-plus sent messages in my sent box, all repeats of the same four originals.
As a non-techie, the only thing I can do is print off copies of each new email sent, then delete evything from the sent box as they pile up.
The suppliers of the samsung galaxy phone tell me this is a problem with Outlook. It's driving me mental; is anyone else suffering the same problem and is anyone engaged in fixing it?

I just recently Reinstalled Windows 7 on my Laptop, and reinstalled Windows Essentials. Upon getting all my saved emails back in their places, I went to refresh and get any incoming emails. It looked to have processed it, but no email came in. I checked my online Comcast account. There were new emails there, but my Live Mail account did not receive them. I looked under Accounts/Properties and this is what I saw. Is there anything in there that needs changing as to why I'm not getting email? Or anywhere else I should look? (Open image in a New Tab to see it better)

Please help.

My family and business rely on email.

Just today, it stopped sending or receiving, and returns incoming emails.

I paid to resubscribe to the Ad-Free option, which ran out a while ago I think, although no ads started appearing.

I read about Reinstalling Windows Live Mail, but my Windows Eight has no start button.

Also, I have thousands of saved emails and folders. Exporting them will be a dangerous nightmare I am sure.

There must be a thoughtful step by step trouble shoot for this.

Help!!!

To clarify, I never used Outlook when it was something else.  Hard to believe they used the name of another product for the email product, but I thought I would mention.

I have lost 23months of incoming emails and this is the second time in past 6 months. They are gone and not in the recycle bin too. But the emails in the outbox are still there. Where did they go? How can I recover these emails? I need these emails and they are important to me. I check my inbox and it is around 1,900,000KB. Any hope to retrieve these?

I am looking for help in opening email attachments.   For some reason i cannot get any attachments on my incoming emails to open.  When i click on them, a pop up box appears which has three choices: Open, Save, Save As; when i click any of these, basically nothing happens?  I can do the "view online" option, but this does not allow me to print, etc.

I had this occur a few months ago and was able to do something through the "tools" to fix it, but now i cannot seem to figure it out?

I am using Outlook for my email.

Any suggestions would be greatly apprciated!
