Since the delivery confirmation and read confirmation on Outlook was eliminated and office users need this function is there any plan to add it....I would not have upgraded if I knew that it was not on 2011
As suggested in an answer to this question I am asking can you please add the feature to recall email on offic mac 2011. It was on an older pc version of outlook. Thanks, Oceanviewprodns
Hi all,
I currently get my emails from an exchange server. I have configured both Apple mail and outlook 2011 to both use the exchange account.
Currently everything sits on the exchange server.
What I'd like to do is archive everything to my local machines drive so that I can review it all at leisure. Also it will allow me to delete all the messages and folders on the exchange server and therefore free up space.
Is there a way I can do this in either or both of the programmes without having to manually drag each email onto a folder on the desktop for instance?
Many thanks in advance.

Hi,
I have a mac os x v10.6.8 running outlook 2011. I would like to change the default sounds scheme for reminders. Please help me. In outlook 2010 for windows I can easily browse to the sound file and it done. On the mac, it doesn't have an easy way of simply
choosing another file.
Regards,
Jorge
I have consistently had this same problem since installing Office for Mac 2011.
I should have use the help line when it was free.
Problem: When writing an email in Outlook, I constantly see the spinning wheel in between each key stroke. This spinning wheel caused a latency of from 3 to 10 seconds between each key stroke. It's driving me crazy and I have all but abandoned Outlook for other email programs. I visited the Outlook 2011 Forum but with no solution. I have checked "rules" I have deleted all the caches using "Cocktail". It looks like Outlook is looking for something between or checking for something with each key stroke.

When entering a new contact into Outlook for MAC. I always have to change the phone settings. Is there a way to design the card as a default, and then each time I enter a new customer, it don't have to do the changes?
I found the Microsoft User Data folder in Documents per dianeoforegon's post of Nov 2011 but cannot find 'correct location' ~/Documents/Microsoft User Data/Office 2011 Identities/your identityW
