I am using an Iphone 5, and a Mac Book Air on OS X 10.8.2. I use Outlook for Mac as my default contact book, and when ever my notebook is opened, I manage all my contacts, write notes on these contacts in Outllook.
When I connect my Iphone to Itunes for synchro, I get all my contacts and notes updated on the Iphone without troubles.
However, when I edit and change a mail address or add a note on a contact from the Iphone, and then perform a sync, there comes the troubles.
When I look at the result on Outlook, I see that all the formating on the notes have gone.
The problem is really happening in between the CONTACTS application on the Mac book and the Outlook application for mac.
Outlook is able to successfully pass its notes formating to Contacts but does not recognize the format on the way back from the Contacts application.
There must be a solution to this problem as all these application are made for Mac OS, or if not, it must be on a priority list of updates to come.
Very frustrating and time consuming to have to reformat all these notes.
Would welcome any solution to fix this problem.

Although I have entered the same authorization information for all five of the other Earthlink alias accounts, I constantly get this error every ten minutes for my "Information Desk" account. No matter what i do it persists.
Strangely, it did allow sending an outgoing message but still continued posting the "error" message. Help!!!
This began only a few days ago even though these accounts have been in use for years.
Do you think this is an Outlook problem or an Earthlink problem?
Emails arriving into my account as "read" before I've event looked at the screen.
I'm on Office 2011 Mac. All three options in the Read preferences do the same.
It was fine until I formatted my computer and reinstalled Office.

I just installed by Office for mac 2011 and for my outlook application,everytime I sent an email whoever sees it show as chinese writing. I went to my contact card and I noticed it was there so deleted but it is still showing. I quit the program and put
it on again and same problem appears. also when i go to organize when i click into properties and permissions is gray it doesnt let me.

I have 6 shared calendars open and with this - I get the spinning beach ball approx every 15 secs and I'm unable to do ANYTHING for around 5 secs. It's rendering Outlook unusable for me.'
I followed some advice in another thread to try and isolate the issue - 5 or 6 steps ranging from deleting preferences .plist files to selectively removing Office-specific files but none of them positively affected the situation.
I stumbled across the workaround (to remove all shared calendars) after noticing that Outlook was downloading calendar data from most of the calendars very frequently and repetitively (i.e., I can't imagine changes at the frequency that was occurring).
However - I still need access to these shared calendars - so looking for advise on how to resolve this issue.

I get this constantly. It started when i updated a service package from microsoft. I no longer can connect remotely, but in my office, i can, while still getting the same message. I also have lost all of my tasks. Battery is also getting eaten alive. Really

I'm running outlook 2011 on Mac OS X. How do I convert from Outlook Express 6 dbx files?
I have MS Outlook MAC 2011 V 14.2.5. I have 3 email accounts set up in Outlook - 1 Gmail and the other 2 Go Daddy. I recently set up my accounts via Outlook. The gmail account works fine, but the 2 Go Daddy accounts do not. I am able to receive emails,
but not send them. Emails get stuck in my outbox and return a response "Authentication failed - user name and password or security settings incorrect". I tried troubleshooting it through Go Daddy and I am told my settings are correct. They are claiming
everything is fine on both my and their end. I also set up the accounts on my iPhone and all 3 work perfectly. And, I tried deleting the accounts, shutting down/rebooting my computer and re-establishing the accounts. Still the same issue. Can you help?
