I had to rebuild my Outlook for Mac 2011 database to resolve problems with Outlook.  After doing this, I lost an archive folder that appeared at the bottom of the Smart Folder.  it allowed me to archive old emails to my computer.  I don't recall the exact name of the folder. but I presume it still resides somewhere on my hard drive.  I would like to get it back in Outlook so I can continue to archive old email and keep my Oultook account cleaned up.  Does anyone have any idea where it resides, what it is called and how to get it to show up again in the Smart Folders portion of my Outlook?

Thanks!
I can send and receive emails without any issue with my outlook.com account but it does not have its own inbox in outlook. My inbox is essentially the "on my computer" folder. Does anyone know how I can fix this?

here is a picture of the folder in question.

Hi,

I have about 50 emails in an Outlook folder and I need to extract the email addresses from the senders in that folder.

There seems to be an easy Export function in Outlook for Windows, but none for Outlook 2011?

Ideally into an Excel file would be great as I need to do further manipulation with them.

Any ideas? Would really help a lot, otherwise might have to do them all manually...!

THanks
Hi,

we have Exchange 2010 and some iMACs with Outlook 2011. We have the problem that if you move or copy a mail from MAC Outlook to the public folder the sent or received date (depends if you take the mail from sent or inbox) change to today.
That is a big problem, because you can't see anymore when this mail was sent or received.
If you make the same in windows, outlook, the date doesn't change, only from MAC Outlook.
We already installed all possible updates for MAC Office but the problem is still the same.
Does anyone know if there is something we can do to avoid this change of date?
Thanks for your help.
Regards
Andy
Email dates are not visible on file list when email reply is moved from sent folder to other folders.  Date re-appears when email is moved back to sent folder.  When email is viewed, all dates are visible.

This did not occur with email replies sent before last two Office software updates were installed.  How can this be fixed??
Outlook 2011 connecting to Exchange 2010. Full patched Outlook and Exchange server.

Plain Text email format.

I want to send someone a link, such as:

http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828118627&nm_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-_-pla-_-Printer+-+Laser+Printers-_-N82E16828118627&gclid=CPf4oZWPgrUCFUjZQgodV0sALQ

The resulting link breaks up after 80 odd characters, in the case above, after the "&nm" part. So my link ends up looking like:

http://www.neweggbusiness.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16828118627&nm
_mc=KNC-GoogleBiz&cm_mmc=KNC-GoogleBiz-_-pla-_-Printer+-+Laser+Printers-_-
N82E16828118627&gclid=CPf4oZWPgrUCFUjZQgodV0sALQ

Because of the broken up link, only the first line is clickable. So my recipients get "link not found" errors because they are only able to click on a portion of the link.

(Note that the above link to the newegg business site is actually smart enough to know what I want to see without needing the remaining characters of the link, but that's because of the newegg's webserver acting intelligently - outlook 2011 is still breaking up the link)

If I send this link to a gmail user, the link is fine. If I send it to another Outlook 2011 user, or if I look in my Sent items, the link is broken.

How do I fix this?

Is there a limit on the number of addresses that can be in a Contact Group?  I am getting a message that says there are too many in a Contact Group I created when I clicked Send on an email I was sending to this croup.
I just upgraded to Mountain Lion and now I'm having trouble with OUTLOOK and WORD freezing up ... I get the beach ball every 60 seconds.  Anyone else experiencing this?  If yes, what can we do about it?

When others in my company and those out side my company paste an image into a email body. And I open the email on my Macbook, with Microsoft Outlook for Mac 2011, version 14.2.5. The images in the body of the email will not appear in the body. Instead I get a box with a question mark in it. Or I will see there is a unnamed bitmap as an attachment. For instance if the image was a screen shot someone was sending, it will so there is a attached bitmap, but will not render the image in the body of the email it was embedded in.

What can I do to make these images show up and render in the body of the email as intended?
