It stopped working all of a sudden, I tried uninstalling and reinstalling it a couple of times, and it just wont go
I then installed version 2011, and it works, however, due to various problems 2011 gives me, I'd much rather use the 2009 version.
And this error 8007000e keeps getting in the way. I'm not too computer savvy, so please give me step by step?

Thanks!

When I am in Windows Live Messenger, I have noticed in my Social page (includes highlights, recent, me and photos) is not loading.   When it tries to load a blank page appears each time.   If anyone is able to help, it would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.

How do I install and get it to work with firefox...it keeps wanting IE.
Is it part of the Microsoft Corporate Philosophy to take a perfectly good program that works well and completely screw it up ? Is this Microsoft's idea of fun ?

For me, Windows Live Messenger 2011 has been a complete pain from the word go. When I was first invited to "upgrade" (more like downgrade!) for months and months it just would not install under any circumstances. No big problem; it just rolled back to the previous version. At least that worked. However, a couple of months ago, Windows Live Messenger 2011 finally installed!!! I wish it hadn't ! As with all Microsoft "ugrades," Windows Live Messenger 2011 has never, ever worked properly. You can ask it to start on Log On until you are blue in the face; it never does ! Well, not quite true: perhaps one time in a hundred, if it has had a good night's sleep or a nice lunch! And, as for the Messenger Main Window opening when (and if) Messenger signs in, forget it !

Needless to say, the previous version worked (although probably didn't to start with). For a company that pretends to be the world's top software producer, this is a truly pathetic performance but not at all unusual. It is the Microsoft "norm;" nothing ever works to start with and I have had the misfortune to be with Microsoft since the very start. When will Microsoft get its act together ?
Prior to  having Google Chrome I was able to do that. I have since deleted GoogleChrome, but still can not open my hotmail inbox.

What info do I give to someone so that they can contact me, and do video-chat with me, on Windows Live Messenger?  My Email Address, that's part of my Windows Live ID, that I use to Sign-In?  Something else, that in effect, is my UserName or UserID, at least for Windows Live Messenger purposes?  Other than my own Windows Live ID that I created & use to Sign-In, I don't recall or have any record of having created, or having assigned to me, anything that might constitute a UserName or UserID, if there is such a critter.  If there IS a sort of UserName or UserID, at least for Windows Live Messenger purposes, that I've forgotten-lost ... and ... IT is the info I should provide to others I meet face-to-face with while traveling ... then How or Where would I find or recover this info?  When I setup Windows Live Messenger on my Desktop, I did do the auto-send of multiple invitations to the folk I selected from my Contacts list, but that was a quick auto task, versus handing out the info needed, to someone in a face-to-face meeting, so they can initiate a video-chat session with me at some later time, using Windows Live Messenger.  Want to be completely accurate about any info I add to my printed business cards.   If not completely obvious by now, my only use, to date, of Windows Live Messenger, has been as the recipient of incoming video-chats from a few of the Contact folk previously auto-invited by me during setup, & that's been less than 5, total.  Will begin new round of extended travel in about 2 weeks, & just dawned on me that I better nail this down, now.  Thanks in advance!
