Greetings,

We have changed ISP's and emails as well. When I open WLM, I get a request to enter my password to my old email account. I would like to keep my emails from my old account for a while to insure I don't lose something of value. If I remove my previous email account do my emails stay on my computer ans can I access them?

Thanks for your help

I am currently using Windows Live Mail with 2 accounts.

I have added a signature to one of these accounts.  There is a notification saying that accounts with no signature will use the default signature.

This means that the signature I assigned to one account is now assigned to both, which is very frustrating since I have to manually delete the signature every time I compose an e-mail from that account.

Does anyone know how to resolve this?  Why would Microsoft force you to have a signature on an account if you don't want one?????
How do I type the Spanish word "senior" with the 'tilde' character properly inserted over the 'e'?  Same for French word "deja vu", etc.

I am getting the below error message when I try to send e-mails with a scanned attachment from Windows Live Mail. My e-mail server is through Road Runner Cable not Hot Mail. I called Road Runner and they say it is a Microsoft problem.

Delete the photo email, create a new one, and try to send it again.

Server: 'smtp-server.san.rr.com'
Windows Live Mail Error ID: 0x8CCC0003
Protocol: SMTP
Port: 25
Secure(SSL): No

I read and deleted mail in Windows Live Mail on another computer but those same messages appear as not read or not deleted on a second computer. WHY?
In my Windows Live Mail Contacts list, some of the contacts are listed by first name only or nickname. How do I make sure all contacts are listed by the last name first?
After the latest windows auto update on the weekend 13.10.12. My windows live mail 2011 won't open. Just says "A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will close and notify you if a solution is available"

I am on windows 7 home premium and it was working fine the day before. Has anyone got any ideas with out uninstalling it and losing everything.

I have tried the auto repair option on program uninstall - it said it was successful but was not
