I was using outlook on windows since years. Recently i purchased macbook and with the hope of same features i also purchased license of Outlook for Mac 2011. But i am very disappointed due to some basic features.

I have multiple accounts and each account required a different signature, I have configured default signature for each account. BUT, whenever i create a new email, signature of my default email account appears. For changing signature, i have to select the signature from signature option, but it don't automatically remove the previous signature, instead, it appends the new signature in text area.  How can this behavior can be controlled.

When replying to email, i need short signature, how can i configure that whenever i reply an email, my short signature should appear according to email account ?

Junk Email protection is not as efficient as in outlook for windows. any suggestions ?

Thanks,

Hi All,

I am using mac pro with OS X version 10.9.2 and Outlook 2011 version 14.3.9.

I am having a few issues with the fonts while using outlook:

  1. I have created a default signature using Calibri font with size as 16. This is the default signature to be applied for all emails (new & replies). I use HTML format for all my emails. However I noticed that when a new email is drafted, all goes well and the signature looks good. However while replying to emails, I noticed for some emails the font changes to Times New Roman automatically and for some the Font Size Changes (font still remains as Calibri). I tried setting the default font, signature etc; but no luck. Any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix this?
  2. When sending an email from Mac, the users having a windows environment receive my email with different font sizes and formatting. Any idea what could be the problem and how can I fix this?

    Thanks in advance.

Sethu

We are using Windows live mail in the office. the problem is with the signature. i have set default signature from signature tab. its a normal signature with name and company address. appears in normal font and colour in the signature tab. but when it comes to composing mail the signature turns to very big font and bold. dont know how to change this. please help. The signature set is not frm any html file, its normal text form.

Another problem is when we type (M) it becomes the messenger icon. How switch off this.

Thanks
Rohini.

I have created a new default signature and the photo of a picture doesn't display and won't send in any emails sent, how can I fix this problem

In Windows Live Mail (Windows 7 Home reium) , in the Signature window,  I've put in 4 different signatures and I like to pick different ones for different recipients.

There's  the option of choosing one as the "default."  Problem:  After  I designate one signature  to be the default, it won't " stick" . The next email I send has a different signature attached. Frustrating! I've re-done this a number of times and it just won't "stick."  Suggestions?

Two identical questions merged

Using Windows Live Mail 2011, is it possible to insert the default signature using keystrokes?  Is there some keystroke shortcut?
