Outlook for Mac 2011: After installing the Service Pack 2 for Mac 2011 I received the error: please upgrade the office database. I found the solution online about rebuilding the main identify. I followed all of the steps and it took me over an hour. When I open Outlook and choose my main identify it still does not recognize the identity. I don't know who to call or what to do. I don't think I should have pay someone since it is Microsoft's error in rolling out the update. I can not access my email. HELP!

This new people thing is a pain in the butt. I don't know how to put contacts in a certain group, such as my agent contacts where I can send out a mail to all of them instead of entering all of their addresses in. This used to be so easy and now I can't
get anything done. Can't we go back to old system or I will switch to a different mail service
Outlook for Mac 2011 ( Lion 10.7.4)and Exchange Server Sp2 ( 08.02.0301.000).
Accounts connect, but then no email gets downloaded.
Have tried connecting accounts either through Kerebos or
Name and Password, same results occur.
Do we need to move the Exchange Server to a newer Service Pack to fix?
Apple Mail works fine however.
Outlook for Mac 2011 version: 14.2.3 (120616)
Mac OS Version: 10.6.8
Email Service: Microsoft Exchange Online (O365)
Like many others I am having an issues with search within Outlook.
When I use Spotlight to search for a name or something similar it lists Outlook items and I can find them that way. However, the search feature within Outlook does not work.
I have tried re-indexing, both in command line and by dragging the folders/drives to the 'do not search' folder in system preferences.
Neither of which seems to have resolved the problem.
I have also tried to rebuild the identity and even created a new identity.
What else should I try?
thanks!

With the new format (which now reads 'People' when I click on 'Contacts'), I haven't been able to figure out how to add contacts to my Groups. When I click on 'Manage' and then 'Manage Groups', I am unable to figure out what I'm supposed to do after that
to add a name to a group.
I allowed the automatic update to install the most recent service pack for Office for Mac 2011. When I opened Outlook all my settings were gone and all the emails I had saved (including "sent" emails) were gone. How do I restore the settings and files?
I am unable to get codes, even though I have changed my phone number - so I am unable to pay my MSN premium Pack $9.95/year. I have talked to two live persons - one said oh I need to transfer you to customer service, customer service said I can't help
you. I want to pay - please call me at 503-884-6338.Thank y ou
