In Outlook 2010 and prior, it was simple to have Outlook automatically add people that you send an email to or reply to an email to your contacts list. In Outlook 2011 for Mac, I can't for the life of me figure out how to do this! I need to set it up
for a client so that whenever they send an email to someone or reply to an email from someone it automatically gets added to their contacts list.
I tried to open Outlook and I got the message that "the database daemon has encountered a problem and has to close". Also Outlook rebuilt my identity but I still kept getting this same message when I tried to open it. I would really appreciate help with
this problem.
For unknown reasons Outlook has started sending error messages whenever mail is sent or received. The messages are of two kinds: "An unknown error has occurred" or "Outlook is unable to connect with the server" Messages can be sent and received in spite
of the messages. I just installed Office 2011 Update 14.2.3 hoping the problem would be corrected. The problem persists. Suggestions would be appreciated.
Hi - I have just purchased a new macbook pro and office for mac 2011 - when I follow the instructions to set up my gmail account in outlook I am unable to bring up the form to complete after following tools/accounts/+/add email - does anyone have any ideas
as to what might be happening? if I select exchange instead of email I get a form to complete. The thing is I am not setting up an exchange account, rather a gmail account. Thanks
my Outlook has suddenly crashed after about 2 minutes, an Error message pops up saying I have to quit Outlook, and it remains frozen until I quit. Anyone else had this problem? Its Outlook 2011 and its a 4 month old Apple Mac Air.
I just ran the latest security patch for Outlook and now all account information for Outlook is gone. I have no messages, nothing in folders. Rebuilding my identity did nothing for me. Any ideas? Of course I am between backups...... Thanks in advance for
the help!
Since updating to version 14.2.3, Outlook 2011 hands after opening an email or two, sometimes I can open 3. Then I get the spinning ball which does not go away (I've left it for over half an hour) and I have to force quit. This never happened before
the 14.2.3 update. I have tried rebuilding the database several times - no help.
