I use rules (under Outgoing) to copy sent items which contain [w] in my signature a designated folder on my computer. This is very helpful if I wait for a response, so I have a reminder that I am waiting for an answer. I review the folder weekly and if I received the answer, I delete the message. See http://waiting-for.com for the full explanation.

However, for a while now, the files are neatly copied in the respective folder I created on my computer, but they can not be deleted anymore. The only way I can get rid of them is delete the whole folder. This is only true for emails that end up in the folder by the rule. If I copy a message to the folder manually, I can delete it without a problem.

Anyone with a solution? This is a very useful rule which suddenly stopped working as expected.
Hi,

I have created in Outgoing rule as -
'archive sent items',
when a message is sent,
date sent is greater than 180 days old,
move message to
"archive sent items (on my mac).
Do not apply other rules is checked and the rule is enabled.
However, the rule is not working and is not showing when I click on the rules button. It is an outgoing rule and only POP rules are showing.
Please help with a solution.

spell check 2011

In Office for Mac 2011, is there a way to set Outlook so outgoing  notes are automatically spell checked, similar to the feature in Outlook for Windows?

I am using a tablet Asus TF101 and Hotmail for my E mails. Outgoing E mails get stuck in  OUTbox  and cannot be sent.

The problem has occurred a week ago after 2 months working perfectly.

What can I  do to solve the problem ?

Regards

Fred

Searching for an address that is in Bcc: for outgoing email should be allowed. Bcc: and Cc: should be treated just like To: when searching.

I understand why you shouldn't return a result from emails that are INcoming from an address that sent its email To my address as part of a Bcc: list. But if I send an email to multiple recipients with their addresses in Bcc:, I should be able to find that email in order to verify/confirm later on that I did in fact send it.

As it stands now, the only way I can find such an email is by remembering the date and the Subject: and then clicking on the 'Details' arrow to reveal the Bcc: line in order to search manually for the address in question. Not helpful at all!

PS: I tried to Submit this to the Hotmail Help page and got an Error '/' .... message with some html-like code on it.
