I use an Microsoft webcam (Vx3000) on MSN Messenger and it does video calls with sound very well.

Previously when I used Xp the person at the other endof the video call  could hear and enjoy my background music and we often exchanged tunes.

The webcam and its internal microphone report that everything is functioning but now although we can converse easily the other person cannot hear my music although I can easily hear songs that she plays?

Is there a setting in the Realtek Audio system that needs changig?

Thank you for any suggestions I may implement

Jim

Hi,

Facebook chat used to work find with Live Messenger. Then one day it stopped working..

I have deleted the connector and reinstalled it via MSN - this did not solve the problem. I deleted the app from Facebook, then from MSN.. then reinstalled it. This did not solve the problem.

The Facebook connector claims it has installed correctly - I get a new group on MSN messenger showing everyone on my Facebook - but everyone is showing offline all the time even when they are 100% on-line.

Anyone have any ideas on how I can fix this?

Thanks in advance,

David

Like many others, I immediately began having problems after being forced to update to WLE.

I have followed all of the procedures in the order provided.

Four freaking times.

I'm done.

I need help and I need it soon because I have to have messenger in order to communicate with my school cohort.  I've spent way too much time on this and I need serious help and fast.  Please give me a heads up.  I have saved the application logs just tell me where to send them.

For the record, after following the procedure and after rebooting MSN messenger does appear to load.  however, as soon as I try and sign in it gives me the cursed message that I have to update to the new version in order to continue.  Lather. Rinse. Repeat.
My MSN messenger has been hacked and I can get rid of the offensive message in the update your friends box & the conversation that comes up when I talk to a friend.  MSN/Messenger continues to say that I am logged in two places, one of the places is obviously the hacker.  I have changed my password etc but can't get rid of the intruder. When I was going through all of the help stuff I did come across an option to close the account, but can't find it again. Any suggestions, please?
Hi, as of 2 days now I cannot sign into my MSN messenger. A window appears each time I try to log on telling me that I must install the newest version of MSN messenger but I don't want to as I am content with the version I have now and am just starting to get used it. I've asked other people if they are being forced to install the newest version before they are allowed to sign in and so far no one has encountered the same problem as I have. How do I fix this because I want to keep my current version of MSN messenger?

Ever since went from XP to Windows 7, none of my contacts are ever online.  One happens to be my boss who I know for a fact is online every day since this is a faster way to communcate.  They use MSN messenger but Geek Squad told me windows live messenger is the same thing with a different name.  Never once have I seen one of my contacts on line.  Never had this problem when I had MSN Messenger.  Please Advise.

can someone help me in layman terms how to correct the issue?
My msn messenger has been downloaded in spanish! how do I change to english??

I am running MSN messenger on windows 7. When open I see small profile pics in the friend list but when I open a chat box the image does not appear in the top left corner as it used to do. The only thing I have changed on the PC recently was when I installed Adblock a few days before, I don't think it could have caused this problem but I'm grasping at straws as I have gone through all the settings and see no way to repair the problem. I have even tried the repair function and a re-install but still have the problem. Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks.
