I have seen in the forum various messages on the updating identity message when you start Outlook. I have seen the reply about deleting files etc. However, today I have this message for 3 hours. It says not to force out of application or shut down.
What do I do now?

I use rule to seperate out my email messages, some of these are server side, some are outlook, but if I have a message moved to a folder when it arrives I don't receive an alert. I have just switched from Windows and this is not how that runs in MS Office
for windows.
Thanks,

When I try to use Outlook receive mail or send this message comes up: Authentication failed because Outlook doesn't support any of the available authentication methods. That floors me! Is there a workaround for this?
Thanks for any help you can provide.

Dear Valued Customer,
http://login.hotmail.com/msn/live/sympatico/american- worldonline/users-up/3373us
Due to congestion in all Windows Live Mail user accounts, there shall be a removal exercise of all used and unused Hotmail/Msn Accounts. Windows Live would be shutting down several accounts as your email address needs to be added to the new Windows Live
database. We programed to stop and delete unused email account, you may permanently stop receiving messages to this Email address if not verified.
You will have to confirm your Hotmail/MSN account. So you are required to logon to your Online Account with the provided link below http://login.hotmail.com/msn/live/sympatico/american- worldonline/users-up/3373us
NB: Failure to to update your account will result to a permanent closure.
Sincerely,
Member Service Team.

I use Outlook Web Access with a Mac and have started to have problems attached certain word documents and pdfs to emails. I get a message informing me that the file to be attached is still in use--even after I have quit all relevant applications. Quite
frustrating and not connected to the size of filesAttac

Hi, is it possible to arrange by more than one field at the sent items folders in outlook 2011 for mac? I´d like to arrange by "date" and "To". Now I can only arrange by one, so that I end up always seeing myself as the sender but don´t see "To" whom message
was sent.
Thanks in advance!
Thanks in advance!

HI,
This started happening with the last upgrade to Outlook. I don't have any size limits set on attachments in my e-mail for the account. Can you help me with a couple questions please:
1) The Outbox isn't showing any messages that are stuck, but obviously something isn't sending. Where do I find this message? and how do I "remove/delete" it?
2) Where can you change the settings? so this doesn't happen again please.
I did partially solve this by using the following answer, but how do I prevent it from happening again? and I also don't know what message I just deleted....
Try this:
Open the AppleScript Editor found in /Applications/Utilities. Paste in the following three lines:
tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
delete every message of outbox
end tell
Click the Run button at the top and this should delete every message in your Outbox.
Hope this helps!
Thanks.
