I tried sending some messages with large attachments and now I keep getting the above error message (every 2 minutes). I went into my outbox and deleted the offending messages but I still keep getting the error message. I'm not going thru an Exchange server. I even went to my webmail from my ISP and deleted the messages from my "sent mail" box (I'm using IMAP). Still no change, every 2 minutes I get the same error message.
How do I increase the send message size on Outlook Microsoft 2013. Up until the end of June I was able to send emails containing 3 photos and 1 video, however now I usually get a post master fail message of some sort saying that the Message size exceeds fixed maximum message size. Can someone please tell me how to increase the message size as it was not a problem a few months ago, I was able to send emails containing 3 photos and 1 video, now I cannot

I attached a 14 page, scanned document to an out going email and got the following message, “Message size exceeds maximum permitted”.  What can I do to be able to send larger doc attachments? This email keeps trying to be sent each time I hit the send/recv button. How do I stop this? Where is this email stored so I can delete it?

Thank you

Apparently there is a too-big message stuck in my outbox. I would delete it if I could find it,but the Outbox isn't visible when I open Office for Mac. Thank you in advance!!
Hi I am getting an error message in Outlook.  5.3.4 a message size of 102403 kilobytes exceeds the size limit of 102400 kilobytes computed for this transaction.  I am happy to delete the mail but I can't figure out where to delete it from.
HI,

This started happening with the last upgrade to Outlook.  I don't have any size limits set on attachments in my e-mail for the account.  Can you help me with a couple questions please:

1) The Outbox isn't showing any messages that are stuck, but obviously something isn't sending.  Where do I find this message?  and how do I "remove/delete" it?
2) Where can you change the settings? so this doesn't happen again please.

I did partially solve this by using the following answer, but how do I prevent it from happening again?  and I also don't know what message I just deleted....

Try this:

Open the AppleScript Editor found in /Applications/Utilities. Paste in the following three lines:

tell application "Microsoft Outlook"
    delete every message of outbox
end tell

Click the Run button at the top and this should delete every message in your Outbox.

Hope this helps!
Thanks.

I scanned 35 pages of a text book, and this attachment was rejected as too large.

I am trying to create a rule using message size of 3,000K or 3MB and it cuts down 3,000 to 3K ever time I save the rule. It does appear to take 333 or 999 but thats as large as it allows. This seems ridiculous and is driving me nuts. What am I doing wrong?
