My hotmail account tells me that I have "filtered out" my contact list; yet when I send an email I can access the list for that "letter". I also have a problem when I sign in I get a message telling me that "hotmail is not available", do I want to retry and then I get in. What is happening? I am new to hotmail and do not understand this.

When I want to sort my messages by either date or from I get a message box coming up which says there are too many messages to sort but I only have 350 messages in my inbox and have never had this problem before.Please can someone tell me what has gone
wrong and how I can get the sorting back.

I recently upgraded from Windows Live Essentials to Windows Essentials 2012. Now I can NOT seem to find out how to search/find an old message (i.e. by sender, recipient, subject, content, etc.). I see the FIND button, but it only shows the TEXT search;
The "message" portion is greyed out and does NOT work. Step by step, how do I access the message search box/feature?
Also, how do I accessmy CONTACTS for editing and the creation of groups? In the old WLM version it had a "GO TO" menu. I can't find a way to get to my CONTACTS list do the group management in 2012.
Your help would be appreciated. Thank you.

I use Chrome to log in to my account. I try to open an email and (can not open emails) the only thing that happens is that this message pops up.~ Hotmail was not able to complete this request. Microsoft may contact you about any issues
you report.
I use Firefox to log in to my account. I can open any email with no problems and no error messages.

I am trying to sign in to a hotmail account that I haven't accessed in a while and I'm getting the message that the account doesn't exist anymore. The account must still exist though because it is still forwarding my facebook emails to my 2nd account,
and since I'm still getting those messages it must still be active somewhere.
