I am updating from Macbook pro to new Macbook pro and want to export all MSOutlook for Mac 2011 emails to the new computer running same MS Outlook for MAC.  When I use export function it takes an age to complete and when I import to new machine I don't get any emails.
The Log gives the following "Error writing attachment to archive "/Users/XYZABC/Desktop/Outlook for Mac Archive.olm".."
Is there any fix for this or any other way I can  back up the emails and transfer them across?
Many thanks
macbook pro. Mountain Lion up to date, outlook 2011. everything up to date..

In my office environment, cable or wi fi, the problem does not exist. It only does this when i connect my macbook pro to a different network. ie a Telstra 4G wi fi dongle(this is how i found this issue to begin with), or my home ADSL wifi does the same.  As soon as Outlook connects, it goes into freakout mode like it is trying to download and upload all known information to man.. there are 2 other mac users in my office, all configured the same(well we think) but only my machine has this issue..Our mail servers have quite small size limits (10 meg or something) so i dont think it is that.

I installed little snitch to find out what app was responsible and its defiantly outlook, nothing trying to send etc etc outlook looks idle, its only the little snitch meters and log that show outlook is maxing out the available bandwidth.. put 36 gig on the 4G dongle in about 9 hours! Telstra kindly waived the $500 charge for going over the limit..on the condition if it happens again we pay.. how nice of them. I imagine Telstra and other ISP's are huge supporters of this problem..  HELP PLEASE....  ANYONE>>> I have come across a few other threads where people have this problem, but no solution..
I am using MS Outlook on my Macbook Pro and I receive the following message every time I initiate an outgoing email:  The server for account "Live" returned the error "5.0.0 Authentication Failed." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?"  I can forward or reply to any email I receive, I just can't initiate one. Anyone have any idea how to fix this?
I am using a MacBook Pro. I upgraded to Mountain Lion over the weekend, and now my Outlook calendar is blank. I still get appointment reminders popping up from Outlook, and I can send invites to appointments. I just can't add anything to my calendar and everything that was there is missing.

I have an MacBook Pro and use Firefox as browser.  When I type into browser "www.live.ca" it frequently does not present me with a page to type my user name and password, but goes straight to my In Box. This may compromise my privacy when others use my computer.  How do I prevent it doing this?

Hello,

I have a MacBook Pro and my Wife have a MacBook Air, and we got the office for mac.
Somedays ago, our Offices for Mac started to just delete all accounts on it, we keep adding and somedays later they got deleted. How can i solve this problem? I use POP3 cause IMAP isn't useful for us.
I use Outlook on my MacBook Pro.  Suddenly I can't find any of my folders except the In Box. Not the Sent folder nor the Deleted Folder. Can anyone help me, please?
The only thing I can think of that has changes recently is that I updated the Microsoft Error Reporting a couple days ago, but now on 2 different Macbook Pro's (both running Mountain Lion), Outlook freezes with the beach ball.   If I wait several minutes it eventually unfreezes, but since email is critical, its very frustrating.  I've noticed this behaviour on 2 different machines today.   Both are connected to an Exchange server and multiple IMAP server as well.   Any ideas?
