How do I set Win7 Live mail to go to "Inbox" upon opening the program>

By default when Windows 7 live mail opens it should go to "Inbox", instead it opens where I left upon closing the program....

How do I resize my hotmail panes and fonts?

I haven't a clue how I've done it but all my fonts and panes in my inbox are about  8x normal size and don't fit the screen. I've read online instructions but can't do it.

Message deleted from junk mail due glitch. Is there any way to retrieve it?

I moved a message I wanted to keep from my junk mail folder to my inbox before emptying my junk mail. It showed that it had been transferred so I emptied my junk mail. I then go to check my inbox to read the message and it is not there and now my junk mail has been emptied. Is there anyway to retrieve this message?

All my inbox emails have disappeared...I did not delete them.  Only the emails from today show up.  Please restore and let me know.  Thank you.

inviting people to calendar events

I use Outlook.com as my email and generally enjoy it.  When I click on calendar, it goes to Hotmail calendar.  No biggie.  I guess they are related.  However, when I create a calender event and try to invite people from my "People" list, it tells me there are no people on the list.  If I click on the people tab from my Outlook inbox, it is fully populated.  I have no idea why the calendar app does not see the names in my people list.  Anyone else have this problem?

problem with seeing emails in inbox

when I sign into my hotmail account, the screen does not display properly, ie shows bullet points with headings.   when I select the inbox, the screen display a blank page.

 

any ideas?

Is Hotmail down for everyone on 15/10/2012?

I can log in, earlier the main home sreen was widened and looked odd, now its fine but when I try to access my emails the main "tabs" on the left are in blue, the highlight for inbox stretches all the way across the screen and I cant read my emails.
Is this down for everyone or just me? I have tried using FireFox and Chrome with the same results.
I hope it is not due to them trying to force everyone into use the new format, I was under the impression changing was optional as it is very ugly looking and not something I want.

Account looks corrupted and cant access emails

When I access my email account the font is all brown and all I get on the first page is a list of folders. On the 2nd page there is a list of all the emails in my inbox , and on the 3rd page a list of options. I can't access or delete any of the emails.

Any ideas please
