Just installed Mountain Lion. When I startup Outlook (Office 2011 for Mac), it connects to the server but it drops connection to Exchange Server after few seconds to minutes. Keeps asking me to reenter my userid and pw. After a couple of these events,
my account is then locked on the server. I have rebuilt the database twice, Shut down computer, reset the Parameter Ram. An interesting issue is that I am running Parallels on my computer and Outlook on the PC side works perfectly. I am frustrated and about
to reinstall OS10.6.8. Any help out there would be appreciated

I am using outlook for mac 2011.
My e-mail accounts are using POP3 setting, and i have "do not delete message from server" checked and "delete message from server when delete from the computer".
There is a tag showing "A copy of message is on the sever" at first after downloaded, but after probably 1 month, the tag is gone, n outlook will download the same message again.
Is there anyone have idea how to solve the problem?
This is quite annoying.
Thanks in advance
We have recently moved move our users to O365 and now we have 26GB mailboxes I would like users to move there mail into the cloud from their machines. If you right click a folder and select "Move folder…" you are not able to select the inbox in the cloud.
This would be the preferred option other than dragging them.
Any suggestions?
Kind regards
Paul

Hello,
because I get a lot of emails a day, I need to organise them in Folders ( on my computer ) and this works well. The problem is that when I drag the new emails from the Inbox to a Folder on the left side they dissappear from the server. How can I stop that? I need to have access to emails also from my mobile phone. I tried the same thing whith Thunderbird and works perfectly, so is not a server problem. Any ideeas?

Im setting up out email with Live Mail. Found how to create signatures by laying it out in a new email message as well as inserting images (our logo), then saving as an HTML file. Then when adding the signature, you tell it to use that HTML file. Ok,
did all this but now when I start a new message, the entire signature is there but the logo get the red X. I repeating these steps several times with no luck. I also made sure to put the images in the same folder on the computer with the HTML file thinking
that might affect things but no change. Even made sure to use no spaces in the file names. In addition, Ive seen posts online saying to uncheck the blocked images section under security which I have done and still no change. Whats keeping the images from
showing when I apply the signatures?

I have set up Outlook for the Mac and have used an exchange server (since this is a corporate email). I don't see any help files on how to manage email on the server? In the prior Windows Office it's easy to tick a box leaving the mail on the server
and one can manually manage removing mail down from the server and onto the local computer. I use a Blackberry and need to keep mail on the server, but once the amount gets too big one needs to remove the mail onto the local client. I would be grateful
for advise on how to best manage server mail and of bringing mail off the server.
Many thanks...
All my messages, contacts, etc. disappeared between shutting the computer down and turning it on. I need to take an identity saved on Time Machine and make it it my new identity for Outlook. I am totally at a loss and panicked that I've lost all my information
in Outlook 2011.
