First/Last name sequence of Contacts when clicking on "To" to send an email in Hotmail

When I click on the "To" (or CC or BCC) to access my Contacts to send out an email, the names in my Contact List come up with their First name first and Last name last. Is it possible to change that to Last name first? Please note: I am not talking about editing the actual Contacts List which can be done by clicking on the Tools icon while in the Contacts. All of a sudden I am getting Outlook when I click on my hotmail account how do I delete it

My Hotmail wont load. It comes up but I cant click on the emails to open them. And its all over the place. Its been like that for several days.

Is there a problem with the Hotmail server or other services (MSNmessenger)?

I am not able to open any emails. I can get to my inbox but when I click on unread or read emails, they will not open. Problem starting happening Nov 2, 2012. I notice on the left side list of options that MSNmessenger is trying to connect but it never establishes a connection. I thought that is what may be keeping from opening emails.

Since hotmail changed CONTACTS to PEOPLE, can not find any of my groups set up in email. i installed outlook, not there and was so confusing besides that .. that i went back to hotmail and not there either. normally if i wanted to send out email to one of my groups, i would just click on that group. please help...i head many organizations and can't find my groups anymore.

the problem started today i signed in to messenger and clicked on the "you have 3 new emails" and instead of taking me right to me email inbox it takes me to the windows live homepage. this is new to me and i don't much like it. i am running xp, messanger live version 14.0.8.117.416. i hope it is a problem with an easy fix. i can still click on the link in the windows live webpage but it the link should take me to my inbox. thank you for you help and hope to hear back soon.

Hello Community,

I have Live Essentials 2011 installed, and I use the Window Live Mail application to read my mail in my live.com account. I receive toasts when new mail arrives, but when I click on them, the application no longer opens the mail. Instead, nothing happens. Is this a known issue, and if so, is there a workaround?

If I click 'Delete and Block' with the option in the 'Safety Options' 'Blocked Senders' tab, tick the box to 'Bounce the blocked messages back o the sender' What information gets sent?
