I have received what looks like a legitimate "Microsoft account security code" email through the proper channels to my Hotmail account. I have no Hotmail accounts linked to my Hotmail, and my account sends verification codes elsewhere.

The answer they gave is incorrect because after deleting the email address as they suggest, it does indeed give you the option to create another address, but only ending in hotmail.co.uk or live.co.uk, but NOT a .com address. Before these so called microsoft technicians answer a question don't they try them themselves?
Does anyone know how to change back from outlook.com to live.com, NOT live.co.uk?
