My outlook 2011 for mac has suddenly stopped receiving/ sending emails. I am asked to insert my password constantly, to no avail. I am linked through my domain name using gmail. Any help??
Hi,
I have a Mac Pro running Snow Leopard 10.6.8 with Outlook 2011.
The computer is also on a domain with Exchange 2010.
Since we last updated the software to 2011, I've moved all "On My Computer" items to the exchange account.
When I try to check those items on Outlook 2011, everything seems to be fine.
When I use OWA to check those items, all emails that were from "On My Computer" have this weird MIME format:
This message is in MIME format. Since your mail reader does not understand this format, some or all of this message may not be legible.
I tried using Outlook 2010 but it's the same as OWA.
It seems like there was a encoding problem while uploading to the exchange server.
Does anyone know what's going on?
Thanks,
Daniel
Doest anyone know whether Outlook 2011 for Mac support IPv6?
If yes, how to configure?
After a serious database corruption, I've succeeded rebuilding my Outlook identity (with the great help of Diane Ross).
I've moved now tons of messages that were 'On my computer' into folders of an IMAP email account (Hover). However, Outlook doesn't seem to 'sync' folders automatically. It's only when I go into a certain folder and press 'Synchronize now' (by right clicking) that it synchronizes all emails. This is however not feasible, as I've 5000+ folders. Any way to 'force' Outlook to synchronize all messages to make sure they are 'synchronized'/pushed into my IMAP email account?
(I'm receiving new messages in my inbox without any problem).

My move-back of "Microsoft Office User Data" and identities was unsuccessful. I see a "Main Identity" folder in "Documents", but with only some MB of data. I still see a "Main Identity" folder in "Applications" with my more real 2 GB of data in it, where
it doesn't belong. Should I, and how safely, now delete or move out the "false" Main Identity folders from documents (there is also a "Main Identity Copy" based on the almost-empty one, and several other "Main Identity" folder versions containing just a little
data). And then, what's the right way to move the real "Main Identity" folder back into documents? Grateful, Alex

I have a friend whom I just upgraded to Outlook 2010 for Mac. She loves the darker contrast of Entourage 2008 though. She is from the older generation and hesitant to upgrade. Is there a way to change the color on 2010 to mimic or at least get closer to
the darker contrast of Entourage 2008?
I search at all web but dont see how this.
