Syncing Outlook between PC & Mac, duplicate emails sent from Mac

Hi all,

I have Outlook 2007 on my PC and Outlook for Mac 2011 on my MacBook Pro. Is it possible to sync the 2 computers so that my subfolders I've created on my PC appear on my PC & vice versa?

Also, whenever I send emails from Outlook on my Mac, a duplicate copy is also sent to my email address on all my devices. Is there a way to stop this?

Ms Outlook Mail Migration Issue

I am trying to go back to Outlook but whenever I do import my messages/mailboxes from Apple Mail, it fails and Outlook generates a Mail import folder that's empty. Thousands of mails are to be migrated and I am much comfortable with outlook 2011.

Is there a way to directly transfer all my mails (around 6k) directly from apple mail to outlook 2011.

One time each year, Outlook 2011 generates duplicate e-mails – fix?

I have Outlook 2011 running under OS 10.6.8. Time-Warner is my ISP and the e-mail is a POP account. About once every 12 months, usually in early Autumn, all my e-mail gets duplicated in each of my e-mail sub-accounts. The same thing also happened when I was using Entourage 2008 with OS 10.4.x and 10.5.x, but not with the previous Entourage 2004 ... going to Entourage 2008 seemed to be the start of this. What's going on?

I manually clean-out and delete the files, and I'm OK for another year. Note: duplicate e-mails only show-up on the Outlook POP account, but not when viewing the TW web mail from my browser.

I previously contacted Time-Warner, and they blamed Entourage / Outlook settings (but could not identify what those should be) ... ultimately, they said it was a problem for Microsoft tech support.

I contacted Microsoft tech support; they verified my Outlook settings were appropriate for a POP account. They told me it was not a Microsoft issue, rather a problem with Time-Warner e-mail servers, mostly likely associated with some reboot or system reset. Time-Warner denied this could be the cause, however, they are more Win-PC focused, and have little knowledge with the Mac version of products. For what it's worth, by wife's PC on the same account, running XP and Outlook 2007, does not have this problem.

Is there an advanced setting within Mac Outlook 2011 to prevent this in the future?
I have several 1000 duplicate e-mails; what is best software or Outlook plug-in to remove duplicates?

Outlook for Mac 2011, version 14.3.7, getting error code -3210 when sending attachments

Greetings!

Over the past month or so, every time I try time I send an email with an attachment of couple meg or more, regardless whether a group distro or individual, I will get this error code. In some cases, after several resends, it may go! Is this an Outlook error or an ISP issue. Note, i have no issues getting large attachments (>10 mb)!

Any ideas?

Sync issues outlook 2011

Hi,

I have an issue with Office 2011 for MAC syncing back to MS Exchange 2010. The sync process works in every way except when I delete / move and item from the MAC, the changes are not replicated back at the server side.

iPhones / iPads / OWA / Outlook 2010 all fine just the 2011 version of office for MAC

The MAC reports 'All Folders Up to Date'

Anyone had this before?

Outlook 2011 for Mac. How can I delete old calendar events?

I migrated from Entourage a while ago, and now it's very slow. I have calendar events going back 10+ years, and my Main Identity is huge!

I'm also getting tasks repeating, so on a given calendar day there may be as many as a dozen of the same task or event, instead of one. I turned Sync Service off, that may help, but now I have a gazillion items to delete.

Is there any way to either export the last 2 years of my calendars, delete them all and import the calendars, or to do mass deletions of calendar items before 2 years ago?

Problem with background sync on Outlook 2011

We have had 2 macs in the last week keep trying to sync hundreds or thousands of deleted messages in the trash folder to our hosted exchange server

When this starts, we can see our outbound network traffic spike dramatically and it is affecting network performance.

The synchronization will start, and no progress will be made, then it will timeout.

A few moments later it will retry and spike the network again.

Any suggestion what to do here?

This is happening on more than one computer now

Hi there microsoft users!

I was just doing some stuff on my Macbook when Outlook suddenly stopped working. I had to 'rebuild database', but this didn't work. There stood some kind of code: 20997. I tried it several times and it never worked. I think I've got Office for Mac 2011, but it could also be Office for Mac 2008. Is there someone who could help me?
