Outlook 2011 for Mac. How can I delete old calendar events?

I migrated from Entourage a while ago, and now it's very slow. I have calendar events going back 10+ years, and my Main Identity is huge!

I'm also getting tasks repeating, so on a given calendar day there may be as many as a dozen of the same task or event, instead of one. I turned Sync Service off, that may help, but now I have a gazillion items to delete.

Is there any way to either export the last 2 years of my calendars, delete them all and import the calendars, or to do mass deletions of calendar items before 2 years ago?

Time Frequency to Sync Contacts between Skype & Outlook.com People

Hi Team,

I am bit confused between Skype & Outlook.com - People Sync Services..
What time frequency to sync Skype contact with Outlook.com - People ?

Can't we have manual button which we can press & sync Instantly or Manually instead of just waiting for them to sync on periodically ? Because sometime after changing the name in skype, we need to constant monitor at Outlook.com - People, Is that updated or not.
Instead if we just that feature available, We can change the profile in skype (Name/ Contact/ or etc..) and press Sync in Outlook.com - People 

That might applicable to Google Contact Or any other contact whose sync service is available through Outlook.com - People.
Because we don't know the exert time frequency by which that service runs on back-end & sync.

1. The sync service in Outlook Preferences is inaccessible and does not function 

2. Office 2011 update. Update 14.1.0 keeps popping up and on installation gives message it cannot be installed. Version in use is 14.2.5
