Suddenly outlook will not send mail from my POP (personal .com account). It keeps trying and making this annoying sound. I turned off the sound. It keeps giving me some security error but I also told it to ignore that and entered the necessary passwords
to do so. It says I need to enter my email server password. I did that (even though it has never changed) and it still won't work and comes up with the same security and password errors.
Sending mail directly from my .com server works but I would really like to use the program I paid for and use to keep all my correspondence.
Not to mention the fact that I didn't even know this for a few days (!!!) since the "outbox" has now disappeared and you cant easily just look at it anymore (WTF??). You can see the progress by going into the "window" and "progress" but that doesn't show you
the actual emails that have not been sent, just the progress that isn't actually happening. There is all that real estate on the sidebar, why is the outbox now gone??? It has been aggravating and very troubling and crisis-causing to find out that I had 10
(!!!) emails just sitting there, not sent!

I have Lync and Outlook installed on my Mac and I am unable to use the Create online meeting function - all I get is a grey box saying 'please wait'. The only way to get rid of this is to Force Quit Outlook.
The Schedule a Lync Meeting function works perfectly on my Windows machine using the same Exchange and Lync accounts.

Howdy - I've searched for an answer, but can't find it so...
I have exchange 365. I have images attached to a lot of contacts. The photos are in my iphone and iPad AND when I look at my contacts online via the web (OWA), however the images in Outlook 2011 on my MacBook Air and my Mac desktop are old images.
I update the contact photos on my iPhone via Facebook - these flow through to exchange online and in OWA are correct, they don't sync through to Outlook 2011 though.
Those same images do flow through to the Mac Contacts app which is connect via Exchange.
Any idea how I get the contacts to flow through to Outlook 2011?

How long it takes to import/export anything is completely related to how much data is involved (1gb is not that big a deal but you don't mention how "many" of these are involved)
Hi I am experiencing a similar problem (most recent Outlook with updates installed, and os is 10.8.5).
Every time I open Outlook I almost instantly have a pop up window that says:
"Microsoft Outlook must be closed because an error occurred. Any unsaved work may be lost."
I don't know the error code as one isn't displayed.

I am missing one folder from Outlook 2011 for Mac. I log into my Outlook.com account and the folder is there. In Outlook 2011 this one Inbox folder is missing. I have tried re-building my identity and that didn't work. What can I do? I am not creating
a new identity to fix this, that is ridiculous and burns a massive amount of bandwidth.

My Outlook 2011, deletes mails on the mailserver as soon as it detect the mail in inbox(not read). The email setup is IMAP,and i have 3 mails accounts, whits is setup similarly, it only gives problems on one of them.
I use one.com mailserver. One's hotline can not help, they say it is a Outlook problem.
It is a big problem when my mac detect the mail before my Iphone, then it is not available on the Iphone.
It works perfectly in the email program Thunderbird.....
Help don´t know what to do?

I have 2 email accounts I use in Outlook for Mac 2011. My gmail account works fine but emails from my other account (my personal domain) disappear daily from the inbox. Is there a way stop this occurring?
