Hi all.

When I reply an e-mail, I'm writing and without reason I can't write any more and it sounds a beep each time I press some key. I must press into the window to following writing... I'm writing some words and then again happen the same issue and again...

I don't understand why...

thx

PS sorry my bad English
I'm running OS 10.6.8 on my iMac with Outlook;mac 14.3.7,  6.1.3 iOS on my iPad, and iOS 5.1.1 on my iPod.

Wi-Fi syncing between the iMac, iPad, and iPod works fine with Contacts, Calendar, and Mail—and it did work with Notes in the past. But for some reason, Notes will no longer sync, even though Outlook's Sync Services for Notes are turned on and Sync Notes is checked on the iTunes Info tab.

I recently did a complete uninstall and reinstall of Outlook.

Any ideas of what could be causing the hangup would be much appreciated.

I have .olm data files from office outlook for mac. I exported the files but the mac saved them as .olm which will not upload to the windows PC.

Can I transfer the .olm files to .pst?

Under my work account i have multiple sub folders. If i try to move an email to one of the sub folders, it will pull up the search box asking what folder i want it to move to. I type in a sub folder and two options appear: my real work sub folder -> xxxx\inbox\(sub folder i wanted)  and  a second option appears under the "On My Computer" account -> On My Computer\INBOX (note: this is displayed in all caps)\(the sub folder i typed in). This second option is not real. There is no INBOX under the On My Computer account and definitely no sub folders.

This being said, it will not show anything when the inbox/send/draft/deleted items are separated by account. If the settings are changed in the general preferences to group all folders under each category then out of no where the (all caps) INBOX appears with the sub folders it says it has. This would be great if i could delete it or remove the account attached to it but it does not give the option to delete it and there is no account attached to it.

We moved to office 365 in June and it seems that this hidden mailbox is an exact copy of my work mailbox with all subfolders being the exact same and all emails inside are the same but the hidden INBOX does not have any mail after we transferred to office 365. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to remove this second INBOX from my account or at least hide it so it does not give it as a option when i try to move my emails?

I apologize if this does not seem clearly visualize my issue at hand.
Not sure if anyone else has experienced this but I can't seem to find anything online about it. It has become a real issue for one of the heads of our company as he is missing appointments since they are being moved while his assistant is editing his calendar.

If you create a multi day appointment (say a two week business trip from May 1st to the 14th) and then double click any day other than the first one of the appointment to make a change or comment said appointment will move dates. The issues seems come from the fact that if, for example, you were to click and hold on May 13th of the two week appointment and move the mouse AT ALL Outlook automatically tries to move the appointment to the 13th. I compared this to the PC version of Outlook and the PC version does not function this way. On the PC you have to drag the appointment to a day different than the one you originally clicked on before it will move the appointment. So my conclusion is that in Outlook 2011 if the mouse is not completely still throughout your double click Outlook assumes you are trying to drag it to the day you clicked on and moves the whole appointment.

I have confirmed this on multiple different Macs all updated to the latest version (14.3.7).

Anyone else had issues with this? Does anyone know of a fix or work around? The only thing I can think of is to tell the users to right click and select Open rather than double clicking.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,
Jonathan
Hi

Please help, about 3 days ago Outlook stopped working.  After opening Outlook it would crash 10 seconds later.

Today I tried to open it again, and now it doesn't even open and just comes up with an error saying

Is it possible to stop the infurating yellow boxes with the yard-long urls that pop up when you hover over a link?

What is the point of this feature anyway, it just obscures what you are trying to navigate your cursor to?
I was sending mail through Outlook 11 on my me.com account without any problems until last week. I didn't change any settings, but I am now getting the following error message:

The server for account "Me" returned the error "5.7.8 Bad username or password (Authentication failed).." Your username/password or security settings may be incorrect. Would you like to try re-entering your password?

It can't be a username/password problem as I receive mail just fine.

Mail is sending from this account on my phone without any problems. I've also tried creating the account in mail and it sends from there with no problems either.

I just bought Microsoft Office 2011 for my Macbook Pro and I hooked up Outlook to my gmail and I can send and receive emails in the Outlook wind. However my professor sent me a link to buy a book and to gain access to the link you need to sign into OWA after clicking the link, every time I type in my email and password, it says it doesn't work. What the heck is going on here?
