I use Outlook 14.3.7 on My MacBook Pro, 10.8.5, & want to see it on/synch with my iPhone. Is there an app for that?
Hello,
I've searched around for an answer to my problem, but have been unable to find a solution.
For the past few weeks (since the 14.3.7 update-- I think), if I create an appointment in Outlook 2011 on my iMac or MacBookAir, it does not appear on the other computer, nor OWA, nor Outlook 2010 on my Parallels Windows 7, nor my devices (iPhone, iPad).
However, if I create an appointment in Outlook 2010 on my Parallels Windows 7, or Apple's Calendar program on my iMac or MacBook Air, or on OWA, or on my iPhone or iPad, they appear on my Outlook 2011 on my iMac and MacBook Air.
So in layman's terms, it seems that Outlook 2011 on my iMac and MBA cannot push the appointments onto the Exchange Server to be seen by other computers and devices enabled with my Exchange Account, but Outlook 2011 can pull appointments off the Exchange
Server if they were created on other devices or programs.
I removed the Exchange Account in Outlook 2011 on my iMac, and then re-added it back, but it still doesn't work correctly. For some reason, it will only upload about 10 of my 3000 contacts, but I think I can fix that (hopefully without duplicates!).
Of note, I had about 30,000 duplicate holiday appointments, but I deleted those (now have about 1800 appointments). I don't know why they reproduced. They were only the holiday appointments that you can import from Microsoft (and one birthday).
Appointments used to work perfectly on Outlook 2011, and I suspect the new update may be a culprit. I've been using Outlook 2011 with Exchange server flawlessly since Outlook 2011 came out.
Any ideas? Thanks.
Every now and then all emails in my inbox get selected by accident.
I looked everywhere, right clicked, don't see a way to easily unselect.
even quite and relaunched and they are all still select, man Outlook is stubborn.

I receive emails on a number of email addresses which all need to be kept seperate and also monitor emails to my colleagues so we all know what is going on
I have just moved from a pc to a mac, on the pc I had all emails showing separately using the favourites folder in the view pane, in Mac outlook I believe there is no favourites folder, how can I achieve the same thing, I have tried setting up rules but this only seems to separate out approx. 80% of emails
I have a personal gmail account and this has separated out but none of the others
Anyone know of a solution
Thanks
Dave
I am using Outlook 2011 for Mac. I have a 12GB Identity with a Database that will not rebuild with error 18000. What is the best way to reduce the size without loosing most of the emails / data? Once I get it open again I can clear out a lot of stuff
but it will not open now. Thanks in advance
I have the following setup:
ISP: Verizon
Email Provider: GoDaddy
Outlook 2011, version 14.3.7
My email was working fine last week. This week, I have been having problems sending emails and it has been getting worse and worse each day. Any time I try to send an email, it gets stuck in my Outbox. I get the following Error:
Outlook cannot find the server. Verify the server information is entered correctly in the Account Settings, and that your DNS settings in the Network pane of System Preferences are correct.
Below that, under the Details Tab, it says
Mail could not be sent.
Account Name: "my account name"
Error Code: -3176
I contacted Verizon, who verified my connection was fine. I contacted GoDaddy who confirmed my settings were proper and that I can send email using their account if I log in to my webmail.
Sometimes the emails will finally just be released from the outbox. Sometimes I have to hit "Send/Receive All" about 40 times. Other times, it has helped to close out of Outlook and start it again. I have rebooted my computer a number of times, but that does not seem to help. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Thanks.

I have found advice to disable autocorrect by unchecking 'Correct Spelling Automatically'. It cannot be done, as it is greyed out. The autocorrect is infuriating and I want it to die.

I have a me.com email from apple and I have set this up with outlook 2011 for mac, the service is extremely unstable though...I get prompted for password constantly and can't send emails from my mail account and when I enter password that is correct it
is not accepted. The web based mail application works perfectly fine, so I know my password is correctly. This must be a bug as it actually works occasionally... Or has iCloud changed the requirements on IMAP outgoing message settings? But seriously, it frustrates
the **** out of me and I can't use my mail as it was intended and what I paid for. I have seen posts about this before, but none of the suggested solutions had any effects... like re-setting key chain, deleting and set-up mail account again, using back slash
(\) before user name etc... NOTHING has worked... PLease someone help... and BTW it's freaki'n hard to find a support function from either apple or M-soft to contact... Dammit, I pay full license fee and stick to the books, but still when something goes south...
tough ****... Shame on you for taking my money but no responsibility!
With my PC's Outlook 2007 I am able to do a search and have returned results containing information from an attached Excel file. I have been struggling with Outlook 2011 on my Mac to perform the same quality of results.
I performed the search on both the setting right next to the word 'contains' and then with all the above mentioned items clicked on while typing the search in the normal search area. Neither worked when I searched for emails with attachments that contain
words I know exist.
Search (then)
All Mail (then)
Attachments (then)
Contains
Can anyone please help me with this?
Thanks!!
