I have an outlook.com account and I'm trying to use outlook for mac. However, I only seem to have an inbox. I have folders on outlook.com and they do not seem to show. Am I missing something?
So I have an outlook.com account and use the calendar. I have now downloaded office for mac as part of my 365 subscription. I have set up outlook to use my outlook.com account however it doesn't seem to show any events from my calendar or my tasks. I
would have assumed this would all simply sync up. Any ideas...?
I just switched to Outlook 2011 for Mac Version 14.3.7 (was using Windows Outlook 2013).
When creating a contact, the Organization, Details and Certificate tabs do not work.
Also, I made notes in one contact like this:
If Support Incident is rejected, send it to:
*** Email address is removed for privacy ***
M-F 8AM-Midnight
Sa-Su 9AM-6PM
800.936.4900 – Support
800.426.9400 – Sales
When I went back the next day, it had changed it to this:
If Support Incident is rejected, send it to:*** Email address is removed for privacy *** 8AM-MidnightSa-Su 9AM-6PM800.936.4900 – Support800.426.9400 – Sales
In another thread in this forum, the Moderator stated on 1.20.12 that Microsoft should be be coming out with Service Pack 2 around "...the first of the year...". This was to address the fact that you can't attach files or e-mails to appointments.
Has this happened? Can I expect the Mac version to continue to be a watered down version of Windows?
Need a simple and reliable procedure to transfer emails from outlook 2011 to apple mail.
Imap is helpful but a kind of "too much technical stuff involved".
and import function is not for outlook 2011 in apple mail.
So any solutions for batch conversion of all the mails from outlook 2011 to apple mail??

My Time-Warner POP server just duplicated 1000s of e-mails in my Outlook 2011 inbox ... this happens about once per year. Time Warner support will not help me, saying it is a problem with Outlook, and the Microsoft tech documents suggest it is a T-W server-related issue.
Since I will need to remove theses e-mails myself (3rd time in three years), I'm looking for a duplicate e-mail removing software or add-on that works for Mac Outlook 2011. There are several for the Windows 2010, 2013 versions etc., but can't find anything for the Mac so far. There are a few suggestions of running a script, but from what I've read, that is a slow and unreliable process.
Also, for the Windows Outlook 2010, there was a work-around suggested to add the "modified" field heading to better find and sort for email duplicates, however, for the life of me, I cannot find that field being an option in Outlook 2011 ... does it exist? When I was using the previous Entourage 2008, there seemed to be additional fields and flags that helped in a similar fashion (duplicates showed-up with a unique icon flag that help to sort for them) ... are these icons absent in Outlook 2011 or just hidden?
Thanks in advance for any suggestions!
I have been given a disk with hundreds of important e-mail messages all in .msg format which won't open on my iMac even though I have Office 2011 installed and use Outlook as my email client.
I downloaded the trial version of Outlook MSG Viewer which I had seen recommended by many people and intended to buy it if successful. However it could not open the files, claiming they were read-only. Now I can't uninstall this program or get the icon
out of the Dock!
There must be a simple way to convert these files; I really need a program that will convert them all en masse.
Any suggestions?
