Hi

I seem to be having problems seeing images in Outlook Mac 2011 from one particular email domain.

I have tried the following already, but would appreciate any help please
  1. Go to the “Tools” menu and click “Junk E-Mail Protection.”
  2. Switch to the “Safe Domains” tab.
  3. Type @domain.co.uk into the text box, and click “OK.”

Plus adding to download pictures from the internet:

Thanks in advance
Since I have re-organized my folders within Outlook there is this error "CREATE Names may not end with the '\' symbol." I have not used the back slash symbol. So I do not understand what the problem is. One funny thing of this error is that it crawls through all my folders and copies some of them (see picture).

Sometimes it even asks for my username and password..

Does somebody know the exactly same problem and a way to solve it?

Thanks,

jg

I just switched from pc to a new mac pro laptop.  I have installed office 2011 for mac.  I have previously been using office 2003 with Outlook 2003 gathering email from multiple email accounts .  I exported a PST file from Personal Folders in Outlook 2003.  I then imported that PST file into Outlook 2001 mac.  This only imported emails, and did not import contacts or e-mail account setups.  I was okay with that and imported contacts using a separate export of contacts in a text file.  I set up the email accounts from scratch in Outlook 2011 mac.  My problem is that after I turned on the Account column on the mail item list, the email accounts are not listed for any of the imported email.  The Account column is blank for all imported emails.  The accounts do show for the new mail that is arriving.  Is there any way to get the email accounts displayed in the account column for the imported emails from outlook 2003?

I was having a problem with Outlook and OSX14.3.7 so I uninstalled Office 2011, but now my MacBook Pro thinks my installation DVD is a blank disk and directs it to iTunes to be recorded (DVD drive works fine with other CD's & DVD's).  I tried the changing region solution, but that didn't help in this case.  Sure hope someone else has run into this - many thanks for any thoughts...FW
Lately, Outlook is not sending emails that originate from me. People aren't getting my emails. People are receiving responses I send to their emails, though. What is happening here?
Hi there,

I send out weekly mass emails for my job at a university to about 900-1000 students, faculty and staff (bcc'ed) through Outlook for Mac 2011 on an exchange server. Some of the recipients are on the same exchange server that I am on and I know they receive my messages, but I want to ensure that other recipients (who might use gmail or hotmail, etc.) are receiving my messages and that they aren't going to their junk mail folders. Some people have suggested that I send my emails out in batches of 100 at a time, to ensure they aren't triggering spam filters.

Is this necessary, or does the amount of recipients not matter for triggering spam filters (but rather that it's the content that is most important for avoiding people's junk mail folders)? And, if I should be sending my emails out in batches, how many recipients should I send to at a time?

I can't seem to find a definitive answer anywhere, so input from a Microsoft engineer would be great.

Thanks,

Pam
Hi there,

Note: MacBook Pro 8GB 1600 MHz DDR3 i7
OS Version: OS X 10.8.5
Outlook 2011 for mac 14.3.7

I have problems when I try to forward or replay a mail.
Randomly, Outlook decides to do not put the past emails on the body.
Actually it puts just a piece of the text of the last email (the most recent one).

To fix it I have to restart Outlook.
This is pretty annoying and I already tried to search on the web for it and never found any info.

Sorry for not putting any examples here, because of confidentiality and because of this bug being random. I can't repeat it at any time that I want. Generally happens after I send or reply a mail without happening the bug.

Could you please help me?

Thanks,

Igor.
Hi,
My outlook started crashing last week, at first I was able to send a few emails before it crashed, but now it is happening almost immediately.  I have earthlink and gmail connected to it.  I thought it may be the result of having too many emails, so I deleted over 2000 in the accounts combined. I cant quite tell, but the problem seems more pronounced with gmail.

Thanks!
Eve

Trying to figure out how to sync everything from Outlook.com to my Outlook for Mac on my notebook.

From what I gather, I can only sync emails.  I would like to do calendar and contacts.  It looks like the only way to do this is to have an Office 365 account with Exchange added.

Is this correct?

Thanks,

Doug

I upgraded my MAC from 10.7 OS to 10.8 (Mountain Lion). Now, I am not able to open any word, excel, powerpoint and pdf files that were on my hard drive. I do have Office for MAC 2011. I am able to open the same file from my email and save them to the hard drive and then re-open it. But I am not able to open any of the files that were already saved on my MAC hard drive prior to upgrading OS to Mountain Lion. Any suggestions or advise?
